Pretty disappointed in this kit. I have used a couple of the different coils successfully but the coils that I was most excited about were the Tri-Core Fused Claptons. These are specified as .21 ohms but in reality as measured in a CoilMaster 521 mini as well as my Smok Alien they measure .17. Some variation between spec'd and actual is certainly acceptable but in parallel these measure .9 ohms and will not pre-fire in the CoilMaster, don't know if the Alien can handle this but not really interested in finding out. So the good news is that I have several usable coils for pretty short dollars but 6 coils that are pretty much unusable.

Did you mean .09 or are they actually .9 ohms? If it's .09 you can give another wrap or two and it should ohm higher. If it's .9 then thats quite a ways from factory spec rating lol...
Yes, .09 is what I meant and that is a good suggestion to add a wrap, thanks!
In my experience I used to like those. Pretty good deal I thought and honestly, the Coilology are pretty much the best kind of 7 in one or whatever they are. But, they all seem to be much now inconsistent.
I started of buying TEMCo 24g Nichrome60 and from there I realized the quality of the wire they use in those cheaper packs absolutely such donkey dick. They ruin the vape and make it taste awful.
What I'm trying to say is the only reason I'll cheap out on wire is for practice wire. If I'm vaping I will occasionally vape kbee just to see the vape and get an idea after I wash with a mixture of soap water and salt.
I can't stress enough.. if clouds aren't your think and flavor makes or breaks your experience than your gonna want to atleast learn how to build fused Claptons. I use those 70% of the time because the vape is extremely well rounded. If you can afford to pay for handmade coils and have no interest in learning you can buy from a few people on here. AVS (advanced vape supply) are honest and very well priced.
That being said I can make alien fused Claptons and Staples and multicored fused staggered builds, and I still use fused Claptons the most. Second most hands down are regular Staples. Sorry for such a long post I was taken back to the wheel of doom demon majigger coils. Even though they suck I give them the credit for making me go to building

Yeah, I purchased this kit just to experiment with and have quickly moved to purchasing higher quality coils and wire. I purchased some AVS Alien pre-made coils and a roll of fused clapton SS. After winding a couple of coils I realize how bloody easy it is, I'm using the Coil Master coiling jig.
That's what's up dude I'm glad you're good to go. I really suggest trying to make some basic builds yourself. Such an amazing yet sometimes frustrating, but ultimately so rewarding way to spend time.
I can make some really nice coils, but because I prefer squonking and I use mostly fused Claptons.

You could do far worse than the coilology kit in my opinion. It's one of the better pre-made coils kit with budget in mind.
