Cold weather means turning on the heat in your house or apartment. A lot of homes and apartments have forced air heaters & furnaces. During the cold months the air in your dwelling is cycled though the air filter on the furnace or heater. Vapor from your vaping naturally gets drawn in and passed through the air filter. While PG and VG collect on the air filter, the result is the filter getting dirtier quicker. PG and VG are kind of sticky and attract dust.

Check your filter monthly and replace as needed. If you have an electrostatic filter or baseboard heating, then you don't have to do this.

PG and VG will build up on your interior windows. I have found that an old fashioned, but smelly cleaner tends to work well: Apple Cider Vinegar. It's cheap, and useful for a lot of household cleaning and cooking needs.

Vape on and vape strong!

I'm wonder just how heavily you have to vape to experience these problems? (e.g.: Total amount of e-liquid used per unit time?) I don't think my wife and I, together, go through more than a couple ml/day.

I noticed that window cleaner does not work well cleaning car windows that have vape on them. I will give the cider vinegar a try.

Another way to look at it Zam, is that the VG/PG is making your filter work better. It's trapping more dust and allergens, which is why people pay a lot of money for those "better" filters.

Having your ducts cleaned properly every few years does wonders at cutting down the dust and allergens in your home.

As a tip, I have found windex works fine, but you have to use it differently. You first spray and scrub with a paper towel, and follow up with a dry paper towel, buffing it clean.

Use Witch Hazel found at your local grocery store next to the rubbing alcohol. It is better at cleaning liquid up than any other solvent I have used.

Apple cider vinegar works great--although I tend to prefer white distilled vinegar for the slightly less obnoxious scent.

One trick I found is that, for windows that gunk up often the way my home office windows do, apply a layer of clear car wax. Buff it off well or it'll leave some nasty streaks.

Post that, for the entire rest of the season, just a wet cloth cleans the windows pretty well.
