I believe at one time I came across a post by @HeadInClouds about combining standalone flavors. I have been testing many flavors lately to see what standalone percentages work for me. Now I'm ready to start combining some of these. The following is an example of what I remember from the post.

Example
Standalone Strawberry @ 4%
Standalone flavor Vanilla @ 2%
Combination of the two would be Strawberry @ 2% and Vanilla @ 1%
Correct?

How would this translate for 3 or 4 flavors?
Does anyone have any insight on this?

You're exactly right. So for as many flavors as you have, you add up the total percentages, and that's the overall percentage of flavoring in the recipe. Most of HIC's recipes end up right around 8% total flavoring, but some people using TFA or other flavors end up as much as 20% or even more.

So your saying that my mix between the 2 should = 6% and not 3%?

Sorry, I misread your original question.

Actually, when you combine flavors that you like standalone, I probably would start much lower around the 3% as you suggested. It's much easier to increase the overall flavoring. Also, you will have to see whether those percentages work together - you may find one overpowers the other and so you'll have to adjust that accordingly.
