I've got a nemesis and 3 orchids and only 1 orchid works on it. I can put them on my Caracalla and they work. I ve tried to adjust the nemesis as good as I could. Would a hybrid adapter help?

You have two points of adjustment between your Orchid and the 510 top cap.

On the Nemesis, you want to raise the center (positive) contact higher so that it meets the center pins of your orchids. On the Nemesis' this is accomplished by turning the larger topcap hex head clockwise. This may also necessitate adjustment of the smaller topcap hex head counter clockwise to bring it into contact with the battery positive; alternatively, you can make up the adjustment with the switch by turning it in to bring the battery up into contact with the topcap center pin.

I do not have an Orchid, but based on the nature of your problem, I believe you have a longer center pin in the 510 connection of the Orchid that does fire. My expectation is that you should be able to use a flat head screw driver on the center pin of the Orchid 510 connection to adjust the pin out farther. Turn it counter clockwise a few turns and I will bet you make contact so that the Orchid will fire.

The reason you have these adjustments in your RTA and Nemesis Topcap is to allow you to fit your mod and/or your atty to changing circumstances. Most users prefer their atties to mount flush on the mods. Adjustable center pins in the Nemi topcap allow you to fit the Nemi to differing atties, and adjustable center pins in the RTA allow you to fit the RTA to differing mods. That is: not all atties are adjustable and not all mods are adjustable. I suspect you need to adjust either or both in order for them to meet in the middle.

HTH.
