Hey VU. So I'm considering buying a rda. I'm not a big fan of dripping but wanted to possibly give it a try. New shop around my way I visited today. And he had mutation x4 49.99, freakshows 44.99 plus tip and tobeco v2 34.99 which he didn't recommend at all. He has authentic kennedys coming this week but don't have that type of money plus idk if I will like rdas. He also has royal hunters coming this week. I forgot if he said 39.99-49.99 supposedly authentics. But which one should I start with and I'm using either a d2 or my 3li or switch between both. The d2 is strictly my adv at work 3li is if I'm just going out locally. He also said he will throw a nice build on it for me if I purchase from him. I just not a fan of the juice mess running down the mod plus I always have a silicone sleeve on mods.

He recommended the mutation based on I assume price and the fact about air flow and how well juice wicks. Is 50 bucks good with a build oh I forgot he also said since I'm first time customer he would do 10% off also

if you dont like leaks, the mut x4 is not for you. Order online for much better prices and try for a Sapor, cheap, easy build, virtually leakproof. Watch a lot of youtube vids on builds and practice. Those prices you listed are pretty high, even for a b and m

Mutation X V3 or V4 are good RDAs. The plus is the T-post for the positive connection. In addition, you can do either a single coil build, or a dual coil, depending on how you put the top on.

Velocity clone by Tobeco isn't bad either.

Take a look at all those build tutorials on the tube. They should get you up to speed.

Any RDA will have juice coming out somewhere, but acceptable. However, some are prone to leak more than others e.g. Mutation X V4 with the bottom airhholes open, or Plume veil

Now can u explain how there is no leaking on this rda. I've seen all rdas leak whether a little or a lot but they all leaked. This is why I am hesitant about rdas. Lots of clouds but don't feel like cleaning up messes

The good RDAs will have some, but not much coming out of the airflow holes. In addition, the better RDAs have two o-rings on the deck, in order to avoid leaks from the bell downwards. If you're looking for a flavor RDA, there are options for RDAs where the airflow comes through the top of the RDA, e.g. Hastur, Aeolus, Manta V2. Haven't had any leaking with those.

I don't own the Sapor (yet). However, looking at the air holes, it could be a good combination of both. The other three RDAs have decent airflow, but are more designed as flavor, rather than cloud chasing RDAs.

So curious is that Kennedy 24 really prevent leaks

Ok, built the Mutation V3. My first RDA build. 2 standard 6 wrap 26g coils, reads .47. At 60 watt on my Evic VT, flavor is amazing. I've got the airflow turned almost closed, and it's like breathing in normally. I'm used to my Subtanks.

So far, big fan. Build was easy, especially for first timer.

I called the shop that I usually go to and he said go with the turbo v3. Easy to build on and the fact that I might or might not like dripping is another reason.

I have a Veritas clone which I have never had leak. I ended up drilling out the air hole bigger for better flow, but the juice well is pretty deep, and when you twist the cap, the airhole seals up. the coils are a bit tricky, but i nailed them on my first attempt, and i am a rookie. just my $.02...

I have the MutationX v3 and I loved that, till I got a Velocity.
Velocity is my go to dripper.
I have Tug Boat, Magma, Authentic Mephisto, Tohb, MutationX v3, iGo L.
Out of all of them, a

Dual coil
26Ga NiChorme80
10 Wraps per coil
2.4mm ID
at 0.5 to 0.6 ohms
Generally vape at between 28.5W and 35.5W

Best freaking RDA so far.
Massive flavor and vapor on the higher end.
Airflow can be adjusted down to Zero Airflow to the most Airflow you will get out of any RDA by taking the bell top off.

For the price and performance, there pretty much isn't another that can really top it.

And they are cheap. I bought 2 of them.
If I lost all of them today, it's the only one I would buy 2 more of.
My second choice would be a MutationX v3, not a v4.

Tricks to more flavor, leave the wide bore tip on and put a 510 tip on top of that, it's not a tight fit, but snug enough to
stay on when walking around the house.

Leaking, Keep the bell clean, and don't over fill it.
