Converting a recipe

I have a question about the flavors' percentage used. I've been a carto-tank fan for a while, but now the lemo took the first place most of the time. I should adapt my recipes, since the flavor is more intense. I will raise my vg too, for a smoother vape.

Anybody has done this transition ? How much less favoring I should use ? 10%, 20% 30% less ? Thx.

I should say that I use a 1 ohm resistance, at 20-25 watts. I was on 1.5 Ohm with max 15 watts before.

Depends on how much diy supplies you have.
Start a small batch 10ml or so of base find the ratio you like.
Then move with flavorings, 10, 15, 20 etc find what works for you without gagging you out.

Thank you BigNasty. The supplies are not a problem, but if I collect experience from other vapers in the same situation, a general rule should emerge. I am curious about it.

I can't imagine I'm the only one making a transition from standard clearomizers and carto-tanks to Kayfun, Lemo, and Kanger subtank, etc.

I started off with Ego Pens and those cheap plastic clearomizers from there I moved to MVP2 and protanks, and now I am using IPV2 and RDA/RBA's. My favorite is the Billow and Lemo for tanks, and for Drippers I love my Veritas. Now I've been tinkering with DIY since the beginning of January. I keep falling down the rabbit hole...... Is there a support group like 'AA' for us; because my family thinks I need to be in one lol.

Edit: I havent changed the percentage I use for flavorings though.

Nope my mom just tosses me an empty bottle and goes "need more exactly like the last!".
So she supports the cheap tasty juice but no support groups.

I have been trying to get my sister to quit smoking. I bought her the gear but she said it makes her cough too much and it's not the same. Still pushing her to use it. She thinks I am insane and says it looks like I have a xxxx lab going on when I make juice lol.

We have the same evolution. The only difference : I don't use dripper atomizers. But the Lemo and the IPV are my main set-up. To me, the flavours are amplified, but I don't know how much in terms of percentage.

I am still getting my taste buds back on track (6+ months analog free). I imagine you could start out cutting all recipes by 25% and go from there. I kinda like the stronger flavors myself.
