One thing that I think doesn't get enough attention and appreciation is the fact that effectively a completely grassroots vaping community has been able to establish itself from humble beginnings of modded flashlights to the current industry we have today! Out of hacked flashlights we have managed to take on some of the most powerful and deep-pocketed corporations and special interest groups, self-regulate almost every aspect of vaping, grow a ton of small businesses, and - most importantly - help get thousands upon thousands of people off of cigarettes/cigars/etc.
That is genuinely incredible when you step back and look at it, especially since almost all of that history was home-grown. We should all celebrate what has been achieved every chance we get, especially in the face of so much money, power, and bad press against us at every turn.
