Cosmonaut RDA Coil length

Hi guys, just got one. Is there a way to measure the length of the coils before clipping? Please let me know... Thanks!

I just clip 'em at about 3mm.

Thanks, very good flavor, and a breeze to wick! I wonder if moving the coils closer to the airflow will further increase flavor.
