I wick my coil and I keep vaping it like usual and i noticed that the vapor is getting thinner and the coils look burnt and very dark and I try to lightly puul on the cotton and the cotton just came right of splited half and burnt. I ALWAYS leave my cotton juiced up or vape it until its a littleee white and i drown the wicks agian. Here's pic

Looks like the cotton is stuffed too tight inside the coil.
Try less cotton or bigger ID.
When you insert the wick once it's in place move it back and forth from side to side until it loosens up inside the coil.

definitely that or a hotspot. I had an alien wire that split on the inside of the coil that was doing this to cotton. Was hard to see the hotspot from the outside but his coils look like normal straight wire. agreed...probably want to work on the wicking technique if this happens consistently with your coils. If its just this one coil try a new one if re-wicking doesn't help and this isn't common for you. Also make sure your post and deck screws are tightened up real nice.

Try different cotton, I've had cotton that looks juiced and all when I go to hit it and it just burns like crazy, I've switched from "name brand and convenient" - bacon bits. to just standard cotton.

Drip sooner. Stop waiting for the wick OUTside the coil to be dry.. The wick inside the coil is ALWAYS drier than the wick you can see. If the wick you can see is getting dry, the wick inside the coil was dry long before.

BOTH Too tight a wick and too loose a wick, leads to juice starvation and burnt wicks. In both cases the juice cant get into the coil fast enough to prevent the cooking off of the juice inside the coil.
