The specs all say .2 but .8 is recommended. I just want to see if I need to send it back. I already emailed the vendor to let them know. I'm hoping they changed the firmware to .4. .2 sounds dangerous on this thing anyway. But I wNt it to do what it is supposed to.

Well, mine wont fire below .4 even fully charged. I dont intend to vape like that on this device, but if others can fire at .2 and mine reads it but wont fire below .4, i need to exchange it. Hope its not too much of a hassle.
I did buy it from idkman, remember I told him if he was getting a replacement to sell me the tank and you commented afterwards...
I would not worry about it. If it still works, use coils above .4 ohms.

I believe after 10 mins its supposed to shut itself off to conserve battery.*sigh* My wife's keeps shutting itself off. She vapes, sets it down, goes to vape again later and it's turned itself off. Fracking wonderful

If you'd read more carefully you would have noticed the "wife" part. It's for my wife. For her: The smaller and lighter-weight, the better. We'd bought her a Mini iStick, but it turned out that didn't do VW, just VV, and she wasn't happy with the vape. I loaned her my iTaste VV4 and she liked how that worked, but not the form factor. I'll build something lower later, mine fired a .2ohm nickel arctic coil at 20w fine though. Don't wanna go higher because nickel.

Thanks man! If I'm right, .2 should only fire up to 20 watts if it's a 10 amp chip. I'm really hoping that's what it is.

I noticed the threads on mine aren't the greatest, certain attys might be making a better negative connection than others
I agree, I just had nothing built for it and wanted to test it. I built the LowPro higher and it's working on it, and some of my attys fire full power, some don't. I bought it for errands. I have so many mods, I wanted something to be able to just pocket quick and go. Planned on staying below 40 watts, I'm enjoying the LowPro at 33, I don't like pushing chips to the max. Or batteries, for that matter. Like you said, it's a matter of it should do what it's supposed to do, and what others are doing. I consider inconsistent firing of attys potentially dangerous in and of itself. Still no word from the City. I haven't hounded them this weekend, I just didn't want to deal with it. I'll be calling them tomorrow. I may keep it. The atty is worth it alone. It just doesn't make sense that two identical attys, with as close to identical builds as is possible, one fires full power one you have to lower it. And I have six vectors to compare. Along with tons of other attys. Just strange.
