Here in Melbourne, Australia, we were locked down for several months.
Lots of people took up baking. Sour dough bread was huge.
Others crafted and painted and sculpted.
I figured a thread to share any and all creative pursuits could be fun.
I actually went to art school, in another time. Galaxy far away. Monash University, then NITA/ANU. But I stopped, for various reasons
Lockdown, I started making people Xmas gifts. It was just 2 little 8x10 inch paintings, of friends deceased dogs
Then, a birthday gift 18x18 inches https://photos.app.******/9soRUWJYu1JA5eHKA
And, I have recently been toying with some abstracts. In the vein of Helen Frankenthaler, Morris Louis, and Mark Rothko. Staining canvas
So, anyone else? Doesn't need to be painted. Just anything, from card making and poems to installation art
I can try to track down some ancient photos. Just huge juvenile bullshit. Biggest was 10 feet tall, 30 feet wide. Smallest was 1/5 inch square.
