Crown coil and flavor chasing.

I know I am pushing it, wrong side of the board, but this side is my home and the responses are a touch slow on the mod:atomizer side.

I just popped in my first ni0.15 crown coil ( yesturday). Did the process properly in priming the coil ( even with an overnight sit). Vaped a whole tank. Just started my second tank using one of my fav recipies (thanks a bunch HIC for whiskey pot of gold) thinking is was poor because I randomly used a new recpie to test the coils (duh should have used a proper mix to start with). I've managed to work my way up to 425-475F and 35-50Joules. And the flavor still will not say hello properly. Bounced up to 510 for giggles for a few pulls and got a steaming hot vape but not the right flavor (and yes I'm vaping the same mix:bottle side by side in a separate crown tank with a 0.25 coil). And yes the priming was done properly because the flavor is back in my third crown tank with a new 0.25 coil (yup someone splurged on getting their 2nd and3rd tanks so to could have a tester ns two seperate adv tanks)

The question is...
Are their any other flavor chasers get a poor response out of the crown ni0.15 coil? Am I one of those people, along with other mixers, that ni coils just will not work? Is that such a thing? Is it because the ni coils need overly flavored mixes? Do others experience this and need to go through 2-3 tanks before the flavor say hello from the other side of proper flavor?

The Ni200 coils are my least favorite - well, perhaps along with the 1.2 ohm coils!

I do remember, though, that when I did try the nickel coils I had to turn the joules way up - to at least 60.

For me it takes a good week for the NI200 coils to break in, once they do the flavor pops.
They hit hot at first then settle in, they start to hit cooler as the cotton breaks in, I do 45J at 500F.

I was not impressed with the Ni200 .15 coil at all.

Hmmmm. It's official I just tossed it out after 2.5+ tanks and not very good. Sure Making my own juice is cheep. But two primo tanks wasted...so sad to waste an adv waiting for the coil to give me an excellent result. (Just started priming a new 0.5 coil and 3/4 of the way through working up on the wattage and the flavor is almost there) I took a look at the coil and it was already starting to get gunky...which is odd because I have no issues with the 0.25 and 0.5 coils.

Sure its most likely a me thing. I know I'm weird. MTL vaping all day on a sub ohm tank. No desire to direct lung hit here. Just Wanting flavor both on inhale and exhale with fun flavors notes on both ends. Jeeeze, I must be a vape prissy with such hi expectations. Lol. Thankfully it was just the coil that came with the tank. Now I gotta find a use for the other two ni coils.
