Hello,
I started vaping two weeks ago to replace cigarettes and haven't picked up a cig since.
So you can safely assume I don't know anything and if you can, explain it to me like I'm five.
Problem is, my display just died yesterday mid drag. I brought it to the store, the dude assumed it was in "stealth mode" (though the manual doesn't say it has one, or even an options menu for that matter) and clicked it a bunch of stuff, removed and reinserted the same battery and it worked... Until I brought it home and it died again after two drags. Otherwise the vape works fine, there's just no display. It fires properly, I can still manage the power output I just don't know what it is. I haven't even burned through a single coil yet.
I kept fiddling with it, sometimes reinserting the battery would give me this: https://i.imgur.com/UUJEijS.mp4 -- which looks like some interruption in some connector inside. The unit itself isn't leaky externally, yet there was liquid in the battery slot and so I assume there's liquid in the circuitry of the mod (what you call the main box, right?). I've still been using it without the display on, can I kill it by being impatient to fix the issue?
I have the OBS Cube-X starter kit. Is this a bug or a defective unit? Can I fix this myself? Is it what I feared and I have to go out and buy some hex screwdrivers, disassemble it to see inside?
Cheers.
