Get ready for a new arcade-style shooter in space, as Sony has announced Dead Star from Armature Studio. Dead Star is in development for PS4 and PC (through Steam), and it will be released early in 2016.
Dead Star feels a lot like a twin-stick shooter, but it's larger in scale and strategically deeper than the genre usually shows. The 10v10 multiplayer matches (5v5 is also available) take place on procedurally generated maps, meaning their shape, buildings, and hazards will be different each time you play.
