A new Kick-Ass comic has been announced and it features a brand new main character.
Entertainment Weekly reports the comic, written by Kick-Ass creator Mark Millar with art once again by John Romita Jr., follows black military veteran Patience Lee in the iconic green-and-yellow costume instead of Dave Lizewski.
Lee is a mother of two young children in her early 30s who comes home from Afghanistan to find her life being completely different, with the story now set in New Mexico.
According to Millar, the dynamic of this new run is different while still maintaining the same flavor from the original series. You can check out the cover art below and visit EW for a look inside the first issue, which comes out next year on February 14.
