Did i get Trolled? (Temperature Control,wires, wattage mode)

Hey guys. Awhile back when I really started to get into vaping I would research and ask questions on here galore. I was interested in using TC (still haven't I do like wattage mode) anyway I'm looking at my notes. and I have it written down that you can only use kanthal and SS in power mode and that Ti N80 and variants are strictly for TC and it's dangerous to use them in power mode. Is that right? Reason I'm asking is I'd like to use some of exotic prebuilts in wattage mode but they usually are a combination of SS & Ni80. I've been using kanthal wotofo clapton prebuilts for a year or more. I never vaped anything else and there's a world of coils out there. I feel like Im missing out lol is it safe to use ni80 in wattage mode? I'm confused as I swear I've seen people do it online I even think my cousin does or am I trippin?

Correct. You can use temp control on SS too tho. Not sure how thou sorry.

Kanthal nichrome and SS regulated and unregulated modes... Ti and nickel TC only...... SS can also do TC. And a few high end mods do TC with Nichrome.

N80 is nichrome, only usable in wattage mode

N200 is pure nickel, only safe in temperature control mode

Stainless steel can be used in either mode, but may be difficult in temperature control mode if it is a complex coil

I’m vaping two tanks today, one has SS coil, the other nichrome N80, both in power (wattage) mode. To answer your question, yes you can. :D
Nickel is Ni200 typically, the “i” is important and as others say for TC.

Steam-engine.org is a good tool to use to help decide what grades and gauges of wire will best produce the vape you want to build.....
easiest way to learn to understand building coils is to experiment.... if you have a tank with coilheads disecting the heads and duplicate the builds...... even if you don't know what materials a coilhead uses if you know ohm coil id and number of wraps... you can use steam-engine.org to even guess at gauge or material.

for exotic coils strictly prebuilts for me. I can do a basic single wire wrap but thats the extent of my knowledge or desire to build lol

MEH... you can use SE to understand HOW a coil works.. whether you wrap it yourself or BUY it. Plug in a few FACTS it give an idea at minimum how Hot the coil might be. and how much power it will need to get hot. I don't do any build more exotic than duals using twisted wire.
