DIY Batch Dull/no Flavor

I made 2 different recipes. Recipe 1 has been steeping for 2 weeks... Recipe 2 I made late last night.. I tried out both in my Goblin RBA, 26G .5 ohm coil @ 25-30watts, No flavor on both.

Dry hits you ask? Nope. Literally Its like vaping air.

Wicking Material? Japanese Cotton. I'm actually new to using it. I just riped off a small piece and slung it through with just enough tightness. I left on the rough section on the front and back. Its different thats for sure.. Its like a sandwich wick lol

Flavor % on both recipes? Recipe 1; (steeped) 15% flavor, and recipes 2; 18% flavor with 1% Ethyl Maltol Sweetner.

Brands on Flavors? All bought through Wizard Labs

Juicy Peach (Cap)
DX Bavarian Cream (TFA)
Pomegranate Deluxe (TFA)
Cantaloupe (TFA)
Ethyl Maltol 10% PG (TFA)

Nicotine VG Based, 100ml (Wizards labs)
PG (wizard Labs)
VG (wizard Labs)

PG/VG Ratios? Recipe 1 70VG 30PG Recipe 2 80Vg 20PG

Nicotine? Recipe 1 6mg, Recipe 2 3mg



Could it be there's not enough Flavor Percentages? I mean the liquids smell amazing, but literately each tastes like air. If theres any other info you need, please ask. I want to figure out what the issue is.. Sorry for the all-o-text. I just wanted to give as much info as possible, in hopes of getting help with this issue I'm having.

try it in a dripper and then a standard tank and see. The flavorings % is up there so you should be getting something. Use process of elimination to find the culprit.

Unfortunately, I don't own a dripper. All my recipes ml are spot on. Nothing is out of place.

sounds like you're using organic cotton pads and not organic cotton balls is that correct? If so, try peeling off one side of the outer skin layer from the cotton pad and wick again. try to make sure the wick fills the coil but not to the point of bunching up too much. possibly your coil is sitting high above the airhole and needs to be lowered a bit? your flavor percentages sound ok and you "should" be tasting your juices with those percentages.

I can always just do a complete rebuild. The coils look fine... As far as the organic cotton, I tryed ripping off both the top and lower rougher side.. Still made no difference..

Sorry to be off topic, but isn't the Goblin rba a dripping atomizer? I thought all rbas (rebuildable atomizers) were essentially drippers--unless they were rtas (rebuildable tank atomizers) like kayfun, taifun and so forth? Just when I think I'm getting down with the lingo...
