DIY Juice Hardware?

What's the best place to get hardware mixing supplies?
I bought a starter kit from MFS and cant stand the tips on the bottles, the syringes don't want to pull up liquid and the plastic top plunger style syringe-droppers are too fat to fit in my smaller bottles ( I was going to use the test tubes but they don't reach the bottom of that either).

Any suggestions on a better place to find these sort of items? Maybe a funnel that will fit in the smaller opening bottles too?

I got a bunch of mini funnels out of ebay(china). When I was using syringes I found a load of them 1ml-60ml at my local vet along with needles I blunted myself. Glass bottles I found at the apothecary intown, they have glass bottles for less than I would have bought off the internet but most heath food stores have bottles and they were a bit expensive. I use a scale now and have very little cleanup unless I spill. There are many kinds of dollar stores but the one nearby has wiretop glass jars I use to store my juices in, those range from 50 to 500mls plus depends on the store.

I got a bunch of mini funnels out of ebay(china).

I have been stupidly happy with these cheap plastic funnels from China. Ten in a pack so I don't have to stop and rinse -- I just throw them in a bowl of water and clean up after the session. And they even stack, sorta.

I just mix by weight. All I need is a scale, a syringe for nic, and that's is. Well 15-30mls bottles to mix into.

Me, too. I like a scale. Less clean up. I do keep a couple syringes, though. Have a few bottles that have screw tops on them.

Whatever you're trying to "pull up", it's much easier to push.
Pull the plunger out of the syringe, & put little finger over the bottom to plug it off.
Drip your flavoring, PG, VG, or NIC, into the top of your syringe.
Stick syringe end into empty bottle and insert plunger, then push.
Blunt tip needles on the syringes help here too.
Or, just use a scale.

Determining "best" for me includes what the shipping cost may be.

That can vary depending where one wants the goods shipped. I know where I live, (well....most of the time ) but no matter how close I put my head next to my computer screen, I have no idea where that might be for you.

Yup. Dependings on what is available to you.

For some supplies like farming stores you can get syringes cheap. Me, I go to my local phamacy.

For scales people say Amazon is good for everything. But I don't do Amazon.

Also, sometimes your DIY supplier is good because your already submitting an order and at a buck or two and free shipping is just fine.

Often my ability to mix is due to my inability to put it somewhere.

If, for example, I'm shopping for flavors at BCV, I'll complete my flavor order and check what the estimated shipping would be. I'll then add one or more 30ml empty bottles. I'll check the shipping fee, and If there is no change will continue to add more bottles until it does...then I'll back off some to just the flavor order shipping amount.

Depending on what you're looking for, Wizard Labs has most of what you need at reasonable prices. Personally when mixing I mostly only use a syringe for measuring nicotine (if there is a steep time associated with a recipe, I want to see how the flavor acts with the nicotine), that said I mostly mix with beakers and graduated cylinders.

I will check it out. I have been having issues with flavors smelling great but when its time to vape it, theres barely any taste to it...

if you want a large,,,,very large syringe, use a turkey baster for large batches. about $3 at the grocery store or $1 at a dollar store.

i like to use a coffee frother for the mixing part,, inside a 'lab jar' (about 4 oz) and i bought a 'spice jar' at bed bath&beyond.(about 3 oz) (i like it better because its slim and tall making my frother easier to work with

Just an FYI: Many other factors can also impact the "no taste" thing.
Type of tank, coil, wick, wattage, DL, MTL, etc.
Some have problems tasting flavors when using more than 50%VG.
But best to start with some of the better known brands and go from there.
