DIY Lasts Longer than Vendor Juice?

It seems to be an interesting benefit to DIY for me - my DIY juice is lasting 2x to 3x longer than vendor juices. My mix is 50/50, theirs is 70VG/30PG. Mine is 0 nic, theirs is 3mg.

Think there's water or something that is gassing off quicker in the premium juice?

Water would make it vape slower. But my guess is you don't vape them the same. I tend to use higher VG and lower nic juice faster than high PG and high nic. Store bought vs DIY dorsn't really matter for me. If anything I use MY diy faster.. because it's better.

Maybe you just like the bought stuff better?

Now that I'm balls deep into my DIY juices I don't keep track of nothing other than my recipes. All I know is that my wife vapes 50mls a week and I stopped keeping track of the mixing dates with her juice ages ago. I have so many jugs and attys of juice around me trying to keep track of consumption would give me a aneurysm or at least tire me out enough to take a nap.

The PG/VG NIC levels alone would cause me to run the 50/50 0 nic at slightly higher wattage. The nic juice and higher PG will have more TH. So I would adjust wattage and maybe air flow or draw.. to compensate.

Are you sure that the vendor juice isn't 70/30 PG/VG? The "standard" way to notate the ratio is to put the PG first. A mix with 70℅ PG will vaporize much quicker than a mix with 50℅ PG will.

I thought, the standard way to list a ratio is to put the higher number first. Most vendors list the ingredient with the higher % first. Some OLD vendors who sold mostly Higher PG juices in the past may still do PG first....... BUT since most juice today is VG dominant, the trend is shifted to VG first.

There is no standard way anymore. It used to be pg/vg. It was nice in that only the numbers needed to be listed. 50/50. 30/70. 20/80.

Now, every post or bottle I read that includes a ratio, I look for the order. It's random.

But, the simplest standard would be a simple VG designation. 50vg, 70vg, 80vg, or for some Maxvg. There really is no need to include the PG number. I think the vast majority of people can figure out the pg is the remainder, lol. But, who the hell am I to start a trend?

Well.. I haven't bought any eliquid in over 2 years. Back when I was first starting and we had to walk 5 miles in the snow barefoot to get to the vape shop, PG was always listed first.

I vape 40pg I'm starting a counter trend.
