Nice. How do you make holes so precisely? Do you have a machine for that? I am doing it with very basic tools...

A cheapo drill press from Harbor Freight. I use graph paper for layout.
tape it over the wood and then use a nail to dimple where I want holes.
I use Forstner bits so I can drill nearly thru the wood without going thru.

I used flooring samples from Lowes to make all of those. Cost under $10 for all the samples. They are Bamboo.

Thank you, The Cromwell, you gave me some good ideas... the first thing is to buy a holder for the drill...

Pre marking the holes with a dimple to start the drill bit is the most important thing for a nice layout.
