DNA 200, which one to get?

when's Kanthal wattage or Clapton wattage being even considered? I think it killes coils faster in wattage mode if it actually exists and I'm using the kanthal basically flat CSV file but was told I don't need that if I only shut Temp off completely....I dunno. I read the DNA 200 chip's spec sheet and the thing could be a beast of astronomically proportions for even simple wattage mode usage. Why wait until 200W is not sufficient for coils by tank makers, meaning why would evolvapor wait, which is almost becoming a reality. What's a reason to even use TC mode vs VW? Nickle is poisonous I don't care if it's still a safer amount used in these things but Steel that's Stainless lol and so far medicical common knowledge has no issue with Titanium coils or even knows much about larger amounts of TI by itself ingested by humans so I'd use SS coils for vaping TC mode. What's the benefit if I'm enjoying what I'm working with in VW mode?

Yep.... When you get a .10ohm 316SS coil at 490 degrees on 65 to 70 watts with a 4 or 5 punch..... Oh my god...... TC nor Power mode.....Can get close to that Vape......

Believe me a DNA 200 will open your eyes up quickly when you find out what you have been missing........ NO CRAP

I'm not rich but I saved money to buy a DNA200..... If you enjoy Vaping man, save and trade and get one...... It's worth it....

luckily for all involved, e-cig.com has really opened up dna power to almost everyone... and now that evolve has the 133 and 75 boards with the same flexibility and accuracy of the 200, anyone that wants one has access.
i remember when the dna30 came out, that board was all the rage, and i wanted one so bad. I didn't have the money to shell out 200 bucks on a mod at the time, so i bought someones broken dna30. I got it in the mail, cracked it open and fixed it
i still use that mod, but youre right, something about its power delivery and accuracy.

I don't discriminate, i have mods from all over, but i have been an evolv fanboy since that first dna

I understand but my whole point of responding was to makes sure a new vaper didn't go out and buy an RX thinking he's getting the same quality vape as a DNA. You know how many vapers I see on FB trying to sell their RX as a DNA? They actually think because they paid $90 for it in a B&M that they have a DNA. They get all insulted when someone offers them $20 for it because Bnib it's going for $39 online. They honestly just don't know. That's all I was trying to prevent. Believe me my intentions were good.

I understand but some people rather pay for their own mistakes than listen to the ones that already paid...... The ones that listen to what you say, watch YouTube videos, and read threads can make a good decision.......

That's what I did.... I bought a DNA200 950mah and soon realized that 950mah, 1,600mah, 2,250 mah is not enough power for an all day 65 to 85 watt Vaper...... So I went ahead and got a (3) 18650 DNA200...... With (6) 3000mah I can sit under a bridge with (2) cases of beer (2) 120ml of juice and 40 chicken nuggets an entire 1 to 1.5 days......

That's the analytical numbers I can give you...

Im saving for a DNA200. I mostly want it for TC mode. But for 50 bucks they affor some pretty nice mods nowadays. Its crazy how they just released the new Reuleaux RX2/3 TC Mod. They updated the 510 pin (Gold Plated) and you can add images and logos. 50 bucks not bad.

Just get enough wattage since good flavorful Vape is around 60 to 100 watts.... I think the correct wattage is about 120watts even some good (3) battery mods like the eleaf 200 watt TC......They are like $35.00
uploadfromtaptalk1469503500897.jpg
But really save for a DNA.... Don't waste your money on cute 75 watts because sooner as you become more experienced you end up seeking more power...... For most 50 to 100 watts it's enough but these mods are usually ugly and don't perform perfect.....

I've been Vaping almost (5) years and have been through several stages..... And the DNA 200 is really the staple of Vaping in today's Vaping Underground.

So read and watch you tube videos and look for honest reviewers, most tell you this box is awesome and the best and wonderful and I just received it for free today see the link below.... Fuck these assholes ! They just want to make a buck of you.....

Look for the guys that mean good and you will find many here on VU......

OMG! Hell yeah bro RIght On!
This is a good tip and at 133 watts (2) 18650 cells will take care of most Vaping needs. All you would need will be (2) extra 18650 as a power back up.....

I have multiple DNA's and the VT133 is my favorite. I love the simple form factor and the fact that it takes 2 18650's. There's a dedicated thread here of people that absolutely love this mod.

I use 25mm and 30mm tanks and Vape really subohm .08 to .10 most of the time .... I get a good Vape at 550 degrees and 80 watts with a small punch depending on wire.... So (2) cell units I end up using (6) or (8) sets of batteries so that's the main reason I got the Triade (3) cells last me 8 to 10 hours and Vaping (3) 10ml tanks per day..... And hitting that shit hard

I do all the time but many members here get heated and I just let them know I'm not trying to misinform people. After reading these posts I was alerted about in my account I feel like crap and took out the frustrated of all the times members have gotten almost as personal as I have. I'm sorry for real and I agree about face to face disrespect toward others and myself wouldn't likely occur because it's over vaporizers. I avoid trouble in reality but I am not a big internet posting type of dude so I'm truly no used to disrespect in life so internet silly arguing is something I must just ignore completely. like as if it's a different universe and nobody knows what I even look like. I'm a nice guy so nobody ever bothers me. It's emotionally confusing to be honest but I agree smart people should not say anything. I'm just so nice and this is new to me, the disrespect we all sometimes have online for each other or disregard whatever it is best labeled as. Sorry. I like this exchanging of information which occurs on this active forum and in this community but wish we could all just get along. I'm confident with my masculinity so I am not afraid to admit I was a jerk. It's better for me to leave this topic alone so sorry. It sucks when people are mean on the internet. I understand that. See you around good luck with the mod.

You seem to be understanding how to post and sometimes I do get a bit upset about something somone said, I just disappear for a couple of days and then come back..... I just post information that I know it's accurate and if someone starts with that's bullshit you are saying and you are mistaken, you suck and all insulting, I don't reply back because sometimes they are doing it to push your buttons.

So I just relax and Vape on..... There is no need to confront anybody on any site and start accusations and crap. This site is for adults and not children .... Just keep posting and keep it real.........

I don't have a DNA200 yet, but I see a Triade in my future. That's one smexy mod!
She works good.... Board is well soldered the 510 pin is awesome and anything fits up to 30mm..... It's thinner and feels different in the hand than an RX200.. It's the best I have owned from about 20...... It's only my second day and I'm getting to like her performance.......

Yeah there is a big debate about them going up to 17" or 18" in the near future. Michelin stated they wouldn't re-enter the sport unless they made that move.

like @Deucesjack said... you are totally missing the point of the dna board in your analysis. Perhaps you don't know or you do and its not important to you. either are fine, But, it lends a little credibility to preface your statement that way and not call them the same.

the boards individual price alone warrants an explanation. I wouldn't pay 80$ for a board that does what the RX chip does. But, the dna does open a ton of doors that nothing else on the market matches. - there are literally over 500 customizable options) preheat temp, style, strength, duration

the screan changes are not all that interesting to me either.. HOWEVER, the ability add not just any wire, but any preheat of any wire is a damn nice way to completely customize the vape experience.
I have the same build in my billow3 and in my petriv2
- dual fused Clapton.
I happen to like the petri at a 85w preheat and a 65w setting with a punch of 11 and a at 550 degrees.
- the same build in the billow v3 I like at 75w preheat a setting of 55w and a punch of 9 ad at 570 degrees

that's what I like, I cant get that vape on anything else. not my rx board, not my sx350j, or hexohm

being able to have that much play is where you pay the extra money.

is it for everyone? NO ITS NOT, some people like to just fire up the mod and vape away, other like to fine tune and play around with tech and vape.
others are like me, I like both, sometimes I just want to hit a series box, other times I want a precise vape.
but, I'm not going to bash anyone elses vape style or equipment, - odds are I have that gear somewhere in this vapemecca of mine.
I take it back, - I will bash the assholio... but that's another story

Thanks for the insight, f1r3b1rd! Do you have recommendations on where I can find good information on how to get the best from using a DNA board. I'm close to purchasing a Triade DNA200, but have NO idea how to maximize on it's potential. With your wonderful description, the ability to customize seems to make a significant difference, ey?

I've used an RX200 for a lil while now and am looking to see how my vape experience can be enhanced/more appreciated. I'm thinking it will be well worth the investment... but still on the fence & is it rocket science to figure out? Would THE flavor be so much more pronounced?

Thanks for the stimulation, you all.

First off Ecig.com is very reputable. I've ordered from them many times. They have great customer service. A phone number that people answer and live chat 24/7. They are a USA company that ships out of Oklahoma.

Second The VT133 and Triade are two different beasts (comparing apples to oranges)

The VT133 is a dual 18650 mod that is limited to 133 watts just like every DNA200 is when using 2 batteries in series. It's a great mod, my most used at this time.

The Triade is a triple 18650 mod that goes up to 200 watts. People seem to like it as well.

It all depends on what you want - a dual 18650 or triple 18650. Is 133 watts enough or do you need 200? They both use the DNA200 chip and can be hooked up to Escribe!

Cheers,
Steve

Just like Wings said. The Triade and VT133 are 2 different animals with similar DNA. Pun intended. I love the Vt133, it's my favorite DNA. I have a Reuleaux DNA so I have no need for a Triade. That being said if I had a choice now between the Reuleaux or Triade I'd get a Triade. It's much nicer looking and it's internals such as the 510 and wiring are better. I wouldn't take any current triple 18650 mod over the VT right now. The reasons for me are pocketability and I really don't vape over 85w in tc. So a triple 18650 is great to keep at home or use if I'm going out for an all day thing but other than that I reach for my Vt133 more times than not. As far as the Q Class goes I love the Yihi board too but their price point is just a little ridiculous to me. Yes, Yihi and Evolv make the best tc boards out there but I think you get more bang for your buck with Evolv. My favorite tc boards are Evolv, Fsk, and Yihi. I don't know what fool told you that ecig.com is not reputable but I will tell you straight up they are absolutely full of shit. I've said this many times before, they actually replaced an X Cube II for a VT200 for me at no extra charge. When both mods were brand new there was a significant price difference. Josh runs a great online shop at ecig.com and his site is Deucesjack approved.

Yep. The one issue I had with them was quickly rectified and subsequent transactions have gone smoothly. Typically good prices, and enough "steals" to keep me checking their site on a regular basis...

They are two different monsters..... This is simply a cloud machine..... The Boreas holds a respectful ejuice quantity with great flavor and huge clouds for around $25.00...... The modfather has a larger capacity 9 to 10 ml..... Flavor is really good and clouds are pretty wild but also around $70.00...... So the Boreas does good for the money...... I have (3) Boreas rtas........ All black......

But that would be so cool to have some really small fish or invertibrates that could live in pg/vg. They would get all panicky and alert you to refill and avoid any dry hits when the tank started getting kind of low...
