Dna 40 questions

Hello all,

My wife needs a new mod and I was looking to get her the sbody macro with the dna 40. She vapes on a protank 2 with 1.5 ohm kanthal coils at 7 watts.

My main question is how is the dna40? I know a while back there was a lot of issues with it and I'm not sure if they have all been resolved.

Not trying to be rude but I see a lot of people saying you should go with something with more watts but she has been vaping for at least what 4 years I think and hasn't gone over 10 watts so that isn't needed. Mainly small form factor is what she likes.

Thanks

I have a few dna40 mods from vaporshark and a home made dna40. The boards Fine now and still have the evolve 1 year warranty. The problem was with the screens, again, the problem is no longer an issue.
Just know, the board only offers tc with ni200. other than that it is a great board. also the sbody is a great little mod, she will love it.

Lol, it's all good bro, is a good group, so fee free to jump in whenever. Not sure where you're looking to but it from, or for how much; but, even though she may not need the power, but, the dna75 might be something to consider for the customization. If that is lf no concern, that the sbody is a fantastic buy. Its built really well, and that board will run all day on one battery .

She only uses kanthal and I'm at 90 watts so I don't believe 75 is really worth the extra price plus what I have read the sbody is built well with a decent 510 which is what i was looking for and vapor shark has the dna40 sbody for 59.99.

Here is criteria I am looking for if you have any suggestion that I could consider:

Built well with durable finish
A good 510 that doesn't let the tank wobble
Small in size
I'd prefer dna chip just because I think it's the best even though I've never had one lol
Less than $70
Also as stated she vapes at 7 watts

If she happy with kanthal, than yeah... do the s-body.
The dna75 mods out there that are cheaper are not quite made as welll

Ok thanks yeah the quality is something I'd prefer. She had a vamo which is horrible quality and then the evil vtc which had a wobbly 510 since day 1 I think and just got worse.

The sbody will definitely be much better. The only 40w mod that I can think of in the build quality department to be better would be the prorape radius. Unless you start looking into the ultra high end stuff.

Yeah prorape didn't want to spend that kind of money but isn't it bigger? I never looked into it being as it's way under what I vape at. The only reason I remembered the sbody was because I was looking at the vs 133 and saw it and found out it was 40 watts.

The radius comes in Both a 40 and a 60w version. I was completely hating on the thing for the longest time, then they released the 60w and I gave it a chance.
It is unbelievable build quality, and the vape is nothing short of perfect. its one and only drawback is changing battery. but at 7w it should run for days without needing a charge and the onboard charger makes that easy
Vsdna40, radius and vf1333
it looks big compared the vsdna40 but feels small in the hand

And major build quality

The macro must be the smaller version of the elfin.

The radius looks nice but a little high in price if I remember right.

It is definitely expensive, and in my opinion GROSSLY overpriced for a 40w mod. Just trying to be diligent with information.

Personally, if it were me, I would be all over the macro...
