Love the look of that blue one, and love the size of it, I don't use my IPV4 and vaporflask because too big for my liking, but I do prefer a dual 650 mod for the longer battery life though.

I really wanted one when I first saw them but ended up going with the full sized snow wolf. They seem really nice though. Here is a pretty decent review for anyone interested ....

After watching the review I think it's a pass on this one...not wild about the whole battery rattle deal...

I like it but I'm almost sure it does not have stainless steal threads cause he said it was chrome. I have to have stainless threads. Also the batteries are just way to loose with a very bad rattle. I like the size and the rubber coating.

@wally - He may not be correct in assuming that it's chrome. I don't think Mark (Vapnfagan) is that 'technical'. I don't know him but, I've watched enough of his reviews; I think he does as good a job as he can. I think he's a good guy... but back to the chrome part.

IF it IS chrome... It's plated over the SS. IF it IS chrome... It's done to keep the surface shiny & bright, easy to clean, tough & corrosion resistant. If it IS chrome over the SS; It would (be an added expense for the mfg, and) be better for it.

Just the facts man! :) Rethink your drink.

You might be right but I have never seen chrome over stainless. I have seen polished stainless but you can tell the difference.

Ive always loved how Asmodus always posts the Info you actually need to see on a Device...Wish this was posted on all the Wismec Gear...I almost bought the Stout and Classic Flask until I found its 25A Output like the Cuboid. That kills it for people like me.

Device Info:
M a x O u t p u t V o l t a g e : 7 . 5 V o l t s
O u t p u t P e a k C u r r e n t : 3 5 . 0 A m p s
O u t p u t V o l t a g e R a n g e : 6 . 4 V o l t s - 9 . 0 V o l t s
I n p u t P e a k C u r r e n t : 3 5 . 0 A m p s
D i s p l a y O p e r a t i n g C u r r e n t : 2 5 m A
S t a n d b y C u r r e n t : < 3 5 0 u A
S t a n d b y T i m e : 1 0 S
V a p i n g T i m e : 1 0 S
W o r k E ff i c i e n c y : 9 4 %

For a Small $80 120w TC Box it sure has some GREAT specs...I would buy one if it was a bit higher in Wattage but I love its looks.

I don't want to derail this thread any more than I've done so already. Just will address this last comment of yours... That you've never 'seen' chrome over stainless. I don't know what you've 'seen' at all... or what your metal finishing background or experience is (yes, I do have some)... Chrome (plating) is a surface finish. It can be applied to a variety of bases including steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, aluminum, cast iron & zinc and some others. This isn't a primer. I'm no expert... I guess it comes down to how much you trust Asmodus to provide a quality 510 connection or whether they're supplying a POS on a $75.00 mod. :) ...Not posting any of this as a challenge to you btw. Just informational.

I did not say it was stainless or was not stainless I don't know. I did say he said it was chrome. And i did say I never saw chrome over stainless. Probably the reason you don't see chrome over stainless is for extra costs when not needed because you can polish stainless. Actually at my job I do have to be good with metals because we do scrap what items we don't repair. I do get a lot of stainless not once have I seen it chromed but I'm sure for some reason someone has chromed it. Chrome is an expensive process I just don't think they would go to that extent to chrome a stainless (if it is) 510 connector.

@wally - I agree with your bottom line 100%... which is why I questioned the reviewer's (technical expertise) opinion. I can't & don't see it as chrome, but IF it was... I posted just to opine that it wouldn't be a bad thing, and to allay your concerns. You 'said' you needed SS threads. What do you think it really is?

There were a lot of devices that were made with chromed brass .like the first i stick 20 w's. They worked although the threads wore out extremely fast. They since improved them. About the best ones now have spring loaded stainless 510 connectors and this is what i do have to have. I think everyone will agree with this.

Nobody in their right mind would chrome plate stainless steel for any purpose at all.

Yeah, a fairly extensive and expensive process for a 510 connection, but we've seen mod developers do some off the wall shit.

Only things I see commonly done are bumpers and diamond plate, and that's only chrome flashing.

I figure if its chromed that its brass, Ive been wrong plenty of times before though. I had no luck finding anywhere listing 510 connection specs for it.

The Minikin is nice but not as much power as I need....I wanted that Greenish-Yellow Version though!
