After some internal argument and some test vapes i bought the magnus NI not relizing the NI version came with two NI coils vs the DVC that came with to non NI coils... oops... ive read that the NI still supports non TC coils and i was wondering if anyone with this version if the tank can confirm this? Im not huge on TC but even with that this thing still produces a good vape in TC i just prefer power mode to TC mode

I'm not entirely sure what you're saying, but Ni200 coils must be used in TC mode!

If you're asking if you can get non TC coils for the tank, then yes - all tanks that have TC coils also have the option to use kanthal/nichrome/stainless coils that can be used in power mode.

Yes i know that part haha

I was asking if put non TC coils in this tank if itd still work?

It seems like a stupid qestion even to me but i dont need something blowing up because i put a regular coil into a tank that is only suppose to work with TC coils and not knowing it haha

Yes you can. As long as the coil fits the tank, you're good to go! Think of it this way - the tank is just the enclosure. The mod is what tells you what you can do with it!

the only things different between the maganus and maganus Ni tanks is that
1. the Ni model ios top fill
2. The Ni model has airflow on the DT
3. The Ni comes with the Ni200 coils while the other model comes with kantha
4. some cosmetic differences

THE COILS are interchangable between the two models
all 4 maganus/Starre coils will fit both tanks

Okay sweet thanks! I tried google but it was only people selling them and almost no Info! The reason i got this tank is its top fill for my work setup vs having to take it apart to fill like my herkles!

A few questions for those who have the Starre Pro or Maganus.

Can coils be found locally? Not sure I want to use Atlantis coils just because Starre are not available, etc.

As for kenthal, it looks like the 0.5 is only rated to 60w, making the 0.25 sort of a necessity. I find the .25 too hot and strong in the Crown. Would Starre be any different?

Some comments about tricky on off top fill switch and easy to break glass. Urban legend or real concerns here?

I want something that has flavor, vapor, and coil life like my Herk, but can I get a slightly cooler vape without resorting to TC? While the Crown with 0.5 looks like the solution, their coil quality is terrible, even with good priming. Arctic coils not much better imho.

Therefore, I live with my Herk and Atlantis V2 when I want something milder than Herk.

Actually, if there were a way to calm the Herakles down a little.......
