DotMod Mod question

Good day everyone!!!!!!

So of course with my tax return coming I have been thinking about another mech, specifically the dot mod to match my Petri's. Only problem I have is the finish on the mod, who has one and how long have you owned it? Is the finish holding up?
I shy away from painted mechs but I don't really have a choice here, the finish looks wonderful but so does everything that's new

I have held the mod and I love it and I should have pulled the trigger on the all gold one before it was discontinued

Please do post the thoughts of the mod other than the finish if you would like, any issues?

Can't contribute more than that I handled the mod at the DotMod booth at a vapefest last year, and the button on that thing is glorious. I don't like painted mods, either, but I'd consider this one if I were in the market. How have your Petri's held up, finish wise? I feel like attys take more abuse than a mod, even with careful use, so that's a good starting point. I'm interested to hear experiences with this one, too.

Well I have the v1 which is the gloss finish, almost a year and the paint is glorious BUT I'm not really handling it and I'm pretty OCD. The new 1.5 is the matte finish but I haven't had it too long so not sure. I'm OCD and take extreme care for my stuff but you can't get away from normal handling on a mech

I don't know but I'm getting closer to just saying f it and ordering it. I guess we will find out if I do.

No it's been gone I think it was 24 k plated like the rda, thing was 290$ I was like holy shit but it was one of the best mechs I have ever seen, but not for 290, well vape shop 290 so might have been 250 or so online.

I might have bought it though, damn thing came in right after I dropped 350 on an authentic brass cherry bomber......which I haven't used in 6 months....

I love the tips on them...not so much the RDA itself though, especially for how much they cost.
