Jalapenos? I cannot taste anything with a scorched tongue.Jalopenos, I can pretty much handle, they're not *too* hot... but I just don't like the taste of them. When I make my many-bean soup, I add some chopped red cayenne... those are blistering if you use too much, or if you don't remove the seeds, but the flavor is nice... in TINY quantities. And it's a really damn good idea to wear latex gloves when handling ANY kind of peppers, or the next time you rub your eyes, you're gonna be wishing for death.
