i bought this drill recently and wanted to let others know about it. It is a very nice drill especially for the price.
Pros: 3,000 rpm; adjustable speed; adjustable trigger for greater speed control; 1/2" chuck
Cons: it's not a keyless chuck; the chuck doesn't close all the way down so I just use the jeweler's tool that I bought off eBay for I think $8 to hold my wires. @raymo2u can maybe post the link to that tool again.
That's the only thing I didn't like about it. Just wanted to let those know about it that are looking for a new drill motor. It's $27. It was $33.80 including shipping and tax before my coupon. I had a $15 coupon so I said what the hell. I'm super surprised by this drill motor. It is very sturdy. Yes it's heavy because it's a 1/2" drill. This thing has got some torque. It's definitely worth looking at if you need a new or faster drill motor. I can't wait to crank out the wire now.
