That's what I read. A bunch of guys did it and they sent out the whole 510 assembly. I don't remember where, but I read it a a couple places.

i bought mine here used, but like new, not sure if it was even used. before the $50 ones came out, that i should have bought another of. i think i paid around $65.
I got mine from TG Value Vape around the same time Eightvape had their sale.
Hmmm. What I'm trying to get at, is a trend in what batches folks likely got theirs from. Some people have lots of leaking and some have none at all. Clearly indicating before and after a production fix,
Yeah, I wonder if mine was a later release too. I mainly got it because of the 250C. I've been putting off using it for quite a while.

It clearly seems the eightvape ones are known issues. That's why they are selling then for less than 50 bucks. There are a few sites asking about 119 for the same mod and it's fixed and doesn't leak at all.
I can only tell you that I got mine from eightvape for 50 dollars and haven't had a single issue. Just being honest.
Son of a bitch. My brand new drone that I paid $130 for is leaking now after a few days.
Took the door off and batteries are soaked with juice. I'll take it apart tomorrow and see if I see anything.
Really kicking myself for spending that much money on this thing.

but there are proven fixes. I bought mine pretty much counting on leaking and prepared to have to do one of the 510 fixes, but mine hasn't actually leaked.
I haven't actually had mine apart, but on the previous page some fixes were discussed with pix. Also, Lost Vape was sending out replacement 510 parts that fixed it too. Some possibly useful discussion HERE as well.
One thing's for sure. There must have been 2 different ways they produced this 510 assembly. Every discussion I've seen had some people with intolerable leaking and some people with no leaking at all. Everybody who's really tried has been able to fix it though. It's a great mod without the leaking.
Darn Tapatalk wouldn't let me on all day. If I replaced the 510, I'd have to connect a wire right? Idk about that

I used it for a few hours and had a huge pool of juice at the bottom of the mod and of course, my batteries were soaked.

I imagine there would have to be some basic soldering of the two large positive and negative wires. I'm not as good at soldering as I once was either. I can get by as long as it isn't too small. There must be somebody local where if you took it apart and showed them what you need, they'd probably do it while you wait for a few bucks.
If it came to that.
I'll ask those guys at Evolv's forum what was involved. One of them there installed the new 510 himself. Another guy fixed it with some sealant
