So as diabetics know, Capella flavors were actually created so that people could create things like sugar-free but flavored Ice-Cream; the way that diabetics make the sugar-free crap taste decent is by gathering some sugar-free vanilla ice-cream, adding a drop of Capella, and as the *most* important aspect, adding an amount of Stevia to counterbalance the chemical taste of the concentrated flavoring *if* a good cream base doesn't do the job. So many diabetic Capella users give awful reviews of the stuff simply because they don't know to sweeten it.

However, I'm not diabetic, so I can simply add Capella drops to some good old high-sugar Vanilla Bean Gelato, and let me tell you, Capella flavor drops are the bomb. Take a dollop of a good Vanilla Bean Gelato (or whatever you want, really) and drop anything Capella into it, and stir it well in a bowl; only takes a drop or less.

Sweet Strawberry is amazing. The ice-cream base brings out every note you expect from a real Strawerry - a little ripe green, real strawberry. This mess would be amazing in a milkshake. Vanilla Custard? Can't put it down. Cake Batter? Better than nothing added.

It's neat to try, and the sugar and vanilla truly brings these flavors to where they absolutely need to be. I personally think Capella was absolutely made for sweet cream bases in mind (sweet bread, ice cream, very sweet-cream coffee [like Italian Cream, it doesn't work well with thinely sugared American Cream], ect ect).

This has given me the idea to create my E-Liquid recipes using an Ice-Cream flavor bade that is quite sweetened, thick, and strong.... and then using minimal drops of accent flavor. Ice-Cream is more soluble than VG of coarse (stuff is so resistant to merging with mess) so it'll take a higher ratio than one drop per scoop of ice-cream, but I think that's going to be the gist.

I've had so much trouble with my flavors tasting flat both in PG/VG and sugarless coffee/drinks/water. These flavors require something, they do, or else you're overpowering your mixes and simply enjoying the effect it gives (which isn't accurate, but with Capella, the flavorings are still interesting if you overpower them in the vape - I love the burn resistance of their flavors, the worst you'll get is a near cake-like texture. So folks naturally don't mind it but it ain't accurate.)

There just ain't any sweetness in PG or VG. I've had the best and it simply tastes like a wet dog that rolled in a barrel of acid. At best, flavor drops alone simply "balance" and create a dull, neutral flavor. For a sweetener, so far I recommend experimenting with Capella's liquid Stevia (or if I could somehow recommend Fructose, I would, I swear I sense that Charlie Noble uses it...), just, I'm so far not aware of the exact Stevia percentages (I'd dilute Capella's Sweetener at %5 in PG to start and then add a single drop of that mixture to your bottle ~to taste.)

And for me personally, on top of that, as long as it doesn't end up having a detrimental effect, I want to add that sweetener to a good combination of possibly Sweet Cream dropa and Vanilla Bean Ice Cream drops to create a truly delicious and extremely versitile "base" to then add Blueberry, Strawberry, Custard, whatever I want. The same vape as I when tasting the flavors in real Ice-Cream.

I think building things from the ground up, like baking, is essential in DIY, and gives a better understanding. And so far, nothing out there in terms of random recipes online tastes like the level I expect, or anything like the joy these flavors are in real food. So, hopefully, I can get some good feedback on what could be an excellent Sweet Cream/Vanilla Bean base to replicate my Ice-Cream trials. I'm hoping some more Capella flavors might help me nail it!
