If it wasn't for clones I would of still been using my mvp. I could not and would not ever pay $300 for a metal tube. ECC and the no clone supporters aren't concerned about us getting off of the stinkies, their only concern is there bottom line. I think everyone should just afford what you can afford and don't worry what the next person is doing, cause its none of your f--king business what I do or do not buy with my money.

The plot is completely lost. Metal tube, spring or magnets, threaded pins......that's all a mod is at the end of the day. I can purchase a milling machine and lathe, and with some VERY basic instruction...make a mod and give it a posh name, then sell it for 20X my cost in material and time....for no other purpose than to extract unreasonable sums of money from egomaniacs that require the validation sought in a product! I am willing to wager that the self esteem challenged that are posting derisive comments about clone owners drive mass produced automobiles and have homes filled with mass produced, reasonably priced products. HONESTLY, how many of you own Miele coffee makers? How many own Aston Martins? How many have $1000.00 pieces of art upon their walls??? The three things I just mentioned do fuck all different than their ordinary consumer counterparts. Shakespeare said it succinctly when he wrote "A rose by any other name, would smell as sweet". Here is a novel idea....do what thou whilst, and leave others to do as they choose...and demonstrate your eloquence by remaining silent, lest you fail to improve the silence. Because a tube mod or even a box mod is something that was adapted from 100+ year old technology. A logo (should) be an original design (looking at you Nemesis...) and thus copyrighted. I have no problems calling for 'no logos'. The 'no China' snobs, however...

Yes. Unfortunately it's very low. I don't know how someone on a disability allowance manages on that? You would be exempt from paying tax over here if you only earned that much working. And probably would need a supplement from the government.

so many factors on disability income. I am a 100% service connected disabled veteran (despite being in very good working order), and receive pay from both the Veterans Administration, and Social Security Disability...the two combined add up to $48,000 a year. I collect the maximum amount, but only represent the top 10% of disabled vets...some make considerably less. I am exempt from paying federal and state tax, and receive an annual personal property tax credit of $1100.00 (this is a Missouri law, and not all veterans are aware of it). So it truly varies.

Um.. However, if I made a different drill head and sold it, they wouldn't have have to use the tubes from Hughes.. So what was the REAL patent that kept those tubes selling? A lot more went into selling those 'Hughes tubes' at the time, than simply the tube..
