We knew we had found just the right house for us... the street is named "Providence" (considering how we were praying not to become homeless, that was a definite "sign"), and it was built in the year we got married.. 1987. I just took one look at the huge kitchen and said "I'm home. Where do I sign?" :D

I am more than happy in my little barn, plus I have a 50 X 50 shed I can get lost in and a little over ten acres to play on and it is all paid for. I was going to build a nice 3K sq ft house but since the missus refused to have kids then I seen no point in the extra room. Seeing how I am suing that surgeon who butchered me last year I am thinking of getting a small double wide to live the rest of my life in when he pays up. Im 50 now and dont expect to live much past 70 so the timing should be perfect. I croak and it falls apart :D

Holy shit Andria! That is a palace!

For the 2 of us, it's not bad. But when our son comes home (he's working out of state ATM), I think it's gonna seem a whole lot smaller. But that's ok; he's fun as hell, and actually not hard to live with, since he grew up. :) I purposely tried to raise him so he'd be a good person, but also not hate us after he was grown; it seems to have worked pretty well. :)

If you get a mobile home or modular home..,. make double damn sure that the wiring is PERFECT. We had to live in a mobile home in the late 90s when housing prices around ATL went thru the roof because of the Olympics in '96, and it really wasn't too bad... until the wiring shorted and almost burnt us down. It was also terrifying in a hailstorm, because when there's hail, there's a good chance of tornadoes too.... And of course tornadoes are proof that god hates mobile homes. :D

Geez, I wouldn't know what to do with a house that big! I think we'd be quite comfy in about 2000 sq ft; what we have now is ok, but could use another bedroom, and my husband desperately needs at least a 2 car garage to fill with tools and NOT use as a garage. :D The 1-car garage we have has to be re-shuffled constantly, it's so filled with his tools.

But, before we bought this house, we were renting a house that had 600 sq ft upstairs, and 600 sq ft downstairs, but the downstairs (basement) was so filled with mold, I was terrifed of going down there just to do the laundry, so this really did seem like a palace at first, having almost 1400 sq ft on one level.

And closets always seem much bigger before you put clothes in them. :D

Andria
The first six months we were just not sure what to do with the room. But it was a move based on the addition of the third child, and when she arrived, we quickly got used to it. We rarely use half the basement to this day - other than as storage for putting more stuff. And when you have this much room, stuff accumulates at a constant rate over the years. The wife has started a purge and clean process with it. :) My only complaint would be the one-car garage, 'cause I'd really like more of a working area for my projects.

That's why I like Cali! Our big ones only shake us up! I've been thinking of installing steering in my Mobile Home so when the big one hits I'll just drive that sucker down the hill! My friends at work already give me shit about my house being on 24" rims with spinners! LOL!

So i just listened to the whole review from Bogan and still didn't hear you mentioned Roxy?

I only watched it once but think he said it when he read the bottom of the atty, where it has written on it, "Designed by Augvape and Roxy." Of course I noticed since I wasn't exactly thrilled about it.

My mom fell and broke her hip a few years ago and laid on the cold ground for 6 hours with a frost warning for that night. Luckily one of her friends became worried about her and went to her house. After that I knew I couldnt leave her out there but I also didnt want to take her independence away so I bought her a new mobile home and put it on my property. The new ones are really well made and its as good as a house on wheels and she is happy there. That is what made me think about getting one for myself. If I didnt have this lawsuit going on I would never consider it. I only plan on working ten more years and retire when I am still young enough to enjoy it. Having two house notes I would never be able to retire early, so thanks doc for fucking me up but also paying sweetly for it :D

I notice that most vendors contests are all social media driven. I do have Facebook,Twitter, and a few others, but I do my best to keep my wall spam and ad free. Otherwise, it gets ridiculous.

Oh, and I live in a 1940 vintage 976sf, 2/1. I do have a bedroom upstairs, and added a walk in closet,so my living area is now about 1200sf. I've been remodelling now for close to10 years, and hope to have it all done by the time social security kicks in in 6 more years.

Have they closed my account yet or does it still say unresolved status? It has been almost 2 weeks so it seems rather obvious there are no plans to reach out to me. I just want to move on.

Says unresolved, when I click your profile it says error - this user limits who may view their full profile, unlike before.

Right when it happened I naively thought it was a mistake and we would work it out. But, the only communication I've received was that email the next day giving me the choices of being Augvape's supplier, or closing my account. Nothing but that.

They are trying to fool the rest of you into thinking they are discussing it, but I don't believe that for a NY minute.

I agree. They seem to be laboring under the delusion that if they're just rigidly inflexible, you'll change your mind and come back, on THEIR terms.

How can I? I have no agreement with or promises from said company to keep me around. And I refuse to pay them when I wasn't paid.

Along the same lines... I think I mentioned that I went over and PMed katdarling and the gunslinger that a lot of their friends from there are now here, and would love to see them here too. Both replied, very kindly, asking how I am and such... but with continued reminders that if I want to come back, even to drop in and say hi, I would be very welcome. What part of "I'm not coming back" is so hard to understand? I finally said that I value my freedom of speech and being treated as an adult, neither of which is available there, far too much to ever go back there.
