I have 8 1/2 to go before I can get my 401K at 59 1/2. The way it is projected I will be in position to retire then and live off the same monthly income I have now. Dont know if I will retire then or not but if they piss me off bad enough one time............

I've been self-employed for a long time, so I will just have social security, plus a little railroad retirement from my years on the railroad.

Anyone read the FT discussion on today's Merlin listing? Someone seems pretty put out with me because she doesn't like Merlin or Boreas, nor the prices. Ain't nothing I can do about the price. As for the designs, well, not everyone likes everything.

Well, I "can" retire in 3.4 years. But, now I'm re-thinking that. It's just me so I may need to save up more. I'm going to seriously take another look at the old budget this weekend.

Like you say, not everyone likes everything. However, it does seem like it makes sense to try something before dissing it, and considering the Merlin isn't out yet I'm not sure how she could know she doesn't like it.

Got my DL renewed, and was shocked and delighted to actually have a really nice lady waiting on me at the DMV. Amazing! DL pic as bad as they all are. *sigh* And I got the emissions test on the Silverado, so Monday I can get the beast tagged. We're gonna go for a "special" tag this time, with a hummingbird on it, which benefits the non-game wildlife fund in GA. :)

What??? Nice????? Someone didn't do their job properly when hiring this woman, DMV employees are not supposed to be nice.

I don't think I've ever met any nice person in any government agency. I believe all of them have to take mandatory asshole training before turning them loose on the general public.

Andria, I have to agree with you, it had to be a drug induced :). I mean there is really no other answer. Although perhaps she has one of lil flasks tucked away in a safe zone, taking a nip now and again.....:vino:

I think people gravitate towards the job they are adept at.
Most probably didn't need asshole training.
