From experience I can say that it is a very wise idea to keep an online back up of all your mixing notes and recipes. Last year I flooded and lost my mixing journal which had tons of info in it on hundreds of flavor profiles and a bunch of recipes. I also lost my computer which on the hard drive had a lot of mixing info on it. Thankfully I had most of my recipes on http://e-liquid-recipes.com web site.

26 here, just after noon. Lots of that around here last too, but it was too cold to go out and watch the drunk neighbors try to set their houses on fire... the spawn did watch thru the window a bit, trying to make sure they didn't set OUR house on fire.
I really wish GA would ban them again. Drunk people should NOT play with gunpowder in any possible fashion.

I agree! But the houses are pretty close, on our street, and lots of huge hardwood trees; if a house caught on fire and was fully engulfed, it would surely set winter trees on fire, and then.... who knows where it would end!
Apparently I'm not welcome in the squonkers thread any longer, since I don't vape exactly like everyone else and people often make unsolicited suggestions of what atties might suit my need for tight draw... so I guess I'll be back in here more often. Y'all may think I vape weirdly too, but at least you leave me alone about it, and don't make me feel excluded.

Likewise! I can't believe these people spending what I consider a mortgage payment on a mod of ANY kind.
But what I can't wrap my head around is how people will suggest, unsolicited, this or that atty... but when I point out my objections to whatever they suggested, they get mad. I do appreciate suggestions, it's how I discovered the Achilles! I always go and check out whatever is suggested, if I haven't heard of it or looked at it previously... but you know as well as I do, how sparse the pickings are, for folks that want BOTH tight draw and great flavor...

Same principal applies in reverse - I view my spending as an investment for my pending semi-retirement and insurance against future government intrusion into vaping - and yes, I know I am fortunate to be able to do so, but on the other hand, I worked my ass off for many years to be in this position and sacrificed a lot over the decades to get here

Based on recent actions even Busardo and Dimitri have forgotten.
I do not prefer a tight MTL vape, however I know what one is and what type of atty it takes to make one.

I look at it as elitism and usually ignore it. Others thinking what is best for you when they dont have a clue is laughable to say the least. Many forgot we all are individuals and vape how we want to vape, not how others think we should. Just because I like something doesnt mean anyone else will like it.

I think it's that those who vape hurricane-style simply don't KNOW what a real tight draw IS, or why it would be wanted. That new guy I've been trying to support with his recovery as well as vaping, just yesterday asked me how on earth it's possible that I vape at <10w -- I simply told him that if he ever tried a 1mm airflow atty, then he'd get it. Low power and tight airflow go together like cookies and milk.
Yes, and I agree completely with that, which is why I have like 20 mods.
And though I really only use my Achilles, and only 1 of the two I have, I have 3 KFL+'s, one of which is an authentic, and 2 original Lemos, plus 2 Magmas, one modified for squonking, which can also serve if the Achilles become unusable -- perish the thought! And a few Prometeys too, which have just as lovely a vape as the Achilles, but they don't have a well, so not quite as convenient for regular use. It really would be great if I could modify one or two of those Prometeys for BF, but I don't see how it would be possible. Also an Ataman which is another titianium-mods design, so it might be just as great as the Achilles, who knows? I really need to try that puppy out. And a few other RDAs, though most of them seem to be dual-coil designs, and not modified for BF, so I dunno if they'll ever get used -- they were PIFs when I got that huge box of atties a couple months back.My biggest gripe though is with these guys who spend like $300 for a mod made of plastic -- I don't give a SHIT if it's from a 3D printer, it's still fucking PLASTIC -- or $500 for a mod made from what must be the last mahogany tree in the Amazon rainforest, and then complain about having to eat Ramen -- if they spent their money more wisely, Ramen wouldn't be in the picture... unless they just really like tasteless noodles! Or they spend a couple hundred for some atomizer just because it's handmade, or has some idiot's name on it -- not because it's actually intrinsically better than any other atomizer. So, that particular gripe isn't limited to vaping -- I have a hard time time dealing with idiocy in ANY venue. And I DO have both an authentic KFL+, and an SX Mini M Class -- but I got both of them 2nd-hand, at amazing prices, because I DO know how to handle money wisely!

This right here is why you’re having a problem over in the Bonkers thread. You say you feel judged by the folks over there and yet you do the same yourself to them. Only difference is that you feel judged for vaping the way you do and you’re judging people for spending their money the way they want to. I tried to point that out to you over there in a more tactful way.
There was only one person over there who I’ve seen get even close to elitist and he decided to leave the thread. You are certainly welcome over there... but the hypocrisy in your overstatement of your opinion of us “huffers” and “hurricane-vapers” is what’s causing the issue. You came initially to the thread looking for advice on how to get into squonking and several of us have done our best with suggestions. You should feel more than welcomed with the help you’ve been receiving over there.

I pointed out that the way you express your opinion regarding others’ style of vaping alienates people from you the way you claim to feel alienated from the community for the way you vape. There was nothing “aggressively hostile” about that. You are upset with folks over there for something you do to them yourself. See what I mean?
If you’d rather play the victim and continue to deflect then that’s fine. I’m not attacking you in any way here and I think that’s plain to see. Merely trying to help you understand that you’ll have a better time here if you accept that people have an opinion that differs from your own and you should be respectful of that. You may have been shown disrespect or picked on about your style of vaping before, but it didn’t happen in the Bonkers thread.

Cold ass night last night. Dropped to 19 here and of course things couldnt just be simple, hell no. Heater decided it didnt want to keep up with the cold last night. Was 65 in here when I woke up this morning. Even had to get Rascal his own blanket last night. Baby was cold
It has warmed up to a scorching 38 so far today and the heater is running ok it seems. Nice 73 in here at the moment but Rascal doesnt want to give up his blanky just yet

A pit bull apparently froze to death in Hartford CT last night and I live 30-40 minutes away from Hartford so that's basically the incentive I need to make a cat hut out of a cardboard box for the 2 stray cats that live under the trailers outside the warehouse I work at. Hopefully one of the cats isn't going to be snooty and not allow the submissive cat in the box because I saw a situation that I feel like might foreshadow this playing out, the submissive cat was trying to get some food that was left by this old guy I work with and the dominant one was like you better fucking not pushing the other back so the sub car just was like fuck it and you dom cat I'm taking it all and the cat did. I'm pretty sure it's a male and female cat

Yeah they probably didn't take care of the dog the original owner was in jail on drug charges and the dog was placed with someone they knew not sure who but they probably did not take care of the dog since they left it outside in a wood dog house and said he was out there because of a burst pipe in the basement of their house which makes it sound like the dog was originally kept in their basement which I doubt it and it is also not any better than outside if they were concerned about the "burst pipe" water freezing
