I got my Black Billow V3 today and put a dual SS Clapton build @.23 ohms. I have now found my favorite tank so far. I have had no leaks and the flavor is great. Running in on my hCigar VT133 @50 watts and 450 degrees and I am getting plenty of vapor and the flavor is outstanding. Flavor is as good as the Griffin and the Velocity style deck makes building very easy. It has better airflow than the V2 nano and the pop up top fill functions really nice with just the right resistance and the juice port is huge making filling this tank super easy. I have found nothing at this point to say bad about the RTA yet.!!!!

A little update on the V3 now that I have had it a couple days. I have vaped this tank exclusively to really get a good feel for it. It has a lot of Pros and I really like the top fill mechanism. It makes filling this tank so easy since it has such a large juice port. I also like the holes that the wick fits in and the design is the most leak free RTA I have used. As far as flavor, I think it is really good but I said in my first post that it was as good as the Griffin but after a side by side comparison, I would say that it is close but not quite as flavorful using the same coil and settings. It would definitely not be a deal killer due to the other advantages that it has over the Griffin but I didn't want to mislead anyone. It could be that when I wicked it that I used too much cotton but I was just trying to prevent any leaking by making sure the holes were completely covered. I will probably try using a little less cotton next time and see if it improves the flavor. Don't misunderstand me, the flavor is good and I would not trade it for another Griffin and like I said, after vaping it for a couple of days, I just didn't want to mislead anyone.

A fair assessment for sure. I dont think Ive given my Griffin enough time to really give it a very good comparison. My biggest thing was that I got so used to having a 5ml tank with the Billow2 that I never really adjusted to the capacity of the Griffin. Dont get me wrong that is also a great tank but I personally dont need that much deck space at the cost of tank capacity. But again, the Griffin is a great great builders tank.

Got mine yesterday and threw in a very quick and lazy 0,11 ohms setup, 3mm diameter and 8 wraps spaced 0,44mm Ti wire.
Flavor is on par with the v2 nano, Im really impressed with the smooth draw, airflow half open the flavor and density of the vape is just amazing.
All the way open the flavor goes away with that build. So far the most easy RTA to build I ever had. Time to sell everything else I guess.
Only con is the 23mm, this in 22mm and a bit shorter (nano version) would be great.
I never had a vape this dense with that simple build. Wicking and rebuilding is just as easy as it gets, takes like 2 minutes.
Well done Ephro&Eciggity, but bring back the logo :D

I ended up canceling my V3 from FastTech after they pushed back the ship date. I did however order the Billow V3 plus (25mm) from Eciggity at the end of last week during their 30% off Spring Sale. I also ordered the 25mm Griffin and a Billow V2 Nano kit at the same time. Grand total was $58.77 shipped via priority mail. They are due to be delivered tomorrow. With my Aromamizer Supreme already here, the 25mm attys are taking over :D

Cheers,
Steve

The 25mm Griffin has the exact same deck as the standard Griffin. The only advantage of it is juice capacity. I caught that sale too. Snagged another damn Goon RDA. Lol

I passed on the original Griffin because of the 3.5mm juice capacity. I figured a bigger deck than I was use to combined with a less capacity wasn't going to be a good combination for me (at the time I was mainly using Billow V2's and Bellus's - 5ml capacity). From what I've read, the Billow V3 Plus has an 18mm build deck, might double as a 1 car garage :giggle:.

It actually has more/better air flow than the Griffin too

Well, I am more pleased with my 25mm Griffin because the machining is excellent compared to my two 22mm ones :)
I have 2 22mm Griffins Rox. The Billow v3 shelved them both. Honestly, overall it's a more convenient tank. And while the original Billow v3 does have a bit of a coil size restriction, the v3 pus has a bigger deck than the Griffin 25.

anyone else having slight resistance jumps that throw off TC?
Doesnt seem to be as stable as it should.

After quite a while of using it I have to say that this top-fill is not the answer to everything.
Yes it is really convenient, yes it is super fast.
But it is not 100% leak-proof, at least mine isnt.
Even with new o-rings there is always a slight amount of liquid coming out, when I touch the gap where the top-fill closes,
there will be liquid on my fingers. It is not a big deal but compared to the v2 and the v2 nano, which are bone-dry no matter what, the v3 is a
bit leaky. I would prefer a threaded topfill like the kayfuns have, the few seconds you loose are worth it imho.

Another issue I have are the post-holes in the big block of the deck, they are really deep and tend to snap wires.
I had everything up to 0,5mm snap on me, stainless and especially titanium.
I always end up not tightening the post screws as hard as possible, which leads to resistance jumps.

Wicking is easy but can be a huge pita if you use 3mm+ coils, because you have to make the ends of the wick thinner.

Bottom line it is a great RTA with outstanding flavor and a super smooth vape but its not on the same level as the v2 was.

As much as I liked this RTA when it first came out, mine have basically been retired since I got a couple Boreas tanks. I will still keep them as backup and things like that but I've honestly not used them in like a month or more now.

Sooo many of these tanks now are basically cut from the same cloth anymore. I didnt bother picking up a 25mm version of this either.
