What problems? Thought the Duo was still pre-order and not shipped to stores yet. At least state side.

Some people have gotten it. There have been a complaint or two about the firing button sticking. Not sure if it is an isolated thing or across the board.

It is pre order yet in US.... Just put my order in today. Got a great deal, look for video reviews from Todd and vaping biker on YouTube they both like it and I think they do great reviews.

Yeah I did see Vaping Bikers last week. He does do good reviews and is the reason I also pulled the trigger on a pre-order. But just in case I also have had the q class on pre-order as well lol.

You got it. Won't be my only DNA 200 but could end up being the best built. We'll see. Can't wait for my q class to come in, too. Ahh the waiting for new toys.

It was between the Q and this one for me. When I found the deal with the Lipo and the 18650 tray I pulled the trigger.

Sounds like we both got the Vapenw deal. My q is coming from elsewhere. Looking forward to your review as I assume a new Dna user. Mine will be on the build quality.

Yes that's were I ordered from and yes it's my first DNA... coming from a Voltx2, Istick 30w and a TC100W in that order over the last 4+ years so cant wait to get it in and try it out!

I see MikeVapes has a youtube up now..... ok review but don't know why the idiots are asking the stickers to be magnets on an Aluminum pannel:crazy: and in no way would I want it to be steel!

We were all looking and considering the same deals. I was considering the Duo when I went to purchase a Q. I also purchased the Q from another place rather than Vape NW, but was considering them for the Q at the time.

I enjoy my dna 200 but favor the top tier Yihi boards. The Duo is not entirely off the table I just went another route on that purchase and will wait for some feedback. I like the transition options with the batts on the Duo.

I'll post back... Been vaping for many years but this will be my first ever high end mod. Using the TC100W now and it's great but just wanted to treat myself:)

Congrats on the purchase. I enjoy the dna 200. I have a Opus and it has yet to let me down, but there are some things I wish were different with the device. The main one is how the batt is in the enclosure that makes it difficult to upgrade to a large batt because the enclosure is pretty compact.

Sounds like we both got the Vapenw deal. My q is coming from elsewhere. Looking forward to your review as I assume a new Dna user. Mine will be on the build quality.

Build quality is what I am wondering about as well. I already know the dna 200 is a solid performer.

Should be same with yours. I just happened to ask while I was talking to them about something else. Patience is not my virtue.

Anyone got their Efusion duo yet ? I thought they said 4/15.
I thought it would ship already. Still saying processing.

BTW, what did y'all pay ? I paid $151.99 for the silver/abalone.

I cancelled my order. I think that's what I paid, though. I was told end of month but they never updated their site reflecting the delay.

Same price I did go for faster shipping so mine was around $157. I'll keep my order unless it goes past the end of the month.

I also got the Silver lets hope:) That's a heck of a nice set up for what we paid!
The silver/abalone looks great in the pictures. If you get a chance let me know what you think of it when you receive it. If at that point you have any questions regarding setup, feel free to ask!

Cheers,
Steve

Will do Wings I think I'm going to set it up for LIPO so I'll have questions.... right out of the box it's said to be set up for the 18650's so I may play with it that way for the first couple of days because I cant wait. But it will let me compare once the LIPO is running.

Dumb questions;

With lipo, will you be charging by USB only ?

Or can you buy an extra lipo and charger and do a swap and charge like the 18650s ?

And which will give you max vape time ? Lipo or 18650s. Thx.

From what I understand LIPO will last longer and ramp up faster... I'll be using the USB to charge it.
It don't sound like you will want to change LIPO's out like you would 18650's on this mod or any mod because they fit in tight and over time you could cause damage.
Could you buy a charger and extra battery/LIPO and do it, sure.

You should get slightly longer runtimes off of 2 x 18650's than a 1300mah 3s Lipo. Watt Hours = amp hours x nominal voltage so 1300mah 3s Lipo = 14.43 Wh (1.3Ah x 11.1v). Two x 18650's (2500mah) = 18.5 Wh (7.4v x 2.5Ah). You will however get the maximum 200 watts using the 3s Lipo but only 133 watts using 2 x 18650 (DNA200 is limited to 133 watts when using two batteries in series).

Cheers,
Steve

I stand corrected..... Wings I thought I read one time that the Lipo's had less sag than the 18650's is that correct?

Yes it is. The reason I said slightly more runtime is that I can run my Lipo's down to 3.09v. If I did that with 18650's I would get crazy sag at the end. I don't think we would be looking at much difference one way or the other especially if one sets the cutoff voltage higher for 18650's.

Cheers,
Steve

Edit The main advantage to me with 18650's when it comes to runtime is that you can bring a spare set and easily swap them. Don't get me wrong I like Lipo's, I'm using a DNA200 as I type this that uses them (Lavabox). I'm just saying if you need extended runtime, 18650's are easier to swap on the fly with most DNA200 mods.

I see plenty of battery sag with my stuff with lipo packs. They are everywhere, in my cellphones, MP3 players, cameras, RC stuff, meters, etc. And no, you can't drain them down to 3.09v if you are draining them at max. Same are true of 18650s. If you run either at or near max current, only about the first 60% of the capacity is usable. Then you have to recharge again. Thank goodness for cylinder cells like 18650! Easy to swap, easy to charge, easy to replace, etc.

I just passed an offer from ecig for a HCigar VT200 for under $120 and a free Joyetech Egrip. I love everything about the VT200, except that damn lipo really kills it for me. So I bought another HCigar VT133 instead.

I wasn't saying Lipo's don't have sag, I was just saying 18650's have more sag than Lipo's. It's easy enough to check, all you have to do is hook up a DNA200 to Escribe and go into the device manager and fire the mod using both types of batteries (I have a DX200 that runs off either a 900mah 3s Lipo or 2 x 18650's).

PS I normally run in TC at ~420F, 30-40 watts so I'm not running anywhere near max current.

Cheers,
Steve

I know you were, sorry. Some people love lipos. I am not one of them and if I have a choice between a lipo or 18650s, I will always pick the latter. Some people like pink too, but I am not one of them either. :deadhorse:

Wouldn't you use a 2 cell lipo in the 133? You wouldn't get 200 W, but not many people need that anyway.

Update for those who ordered from vapenw. They shipped to them Monday and said hopefully they'll arrive there tomorrow or early next week. So maybe we'll have them next week.

Thought about this some... Lost Vape is a China company right? Unless they have a stateside distributor would we not have to wait for it to clear customs?

Edit...
Now more idiot YouTube reviewers are asking the stickers to be magnets on an Aluminum pannel:crazy: and in no way would I want it to be steel! Don't want or have a YouTube account but wish I could post and let them know how dumb they are! One posts it and they follow like lambs without using the brain God gave them:confused:

I believe i read someone saying that on another forum as well as the videos and it is a smart idea the fact that those abalone panels i believe are like 30 or 40 bucks but if u want to swap them they will be ruined taking them off or at least not as good as new . the thought i heard was to add a small magnet into the door as well as the panels (similar to the battery door) so they can be swapped not using a steel door. Im sure the would need small magnets but those covers cant be to heavy. I wouldnt be suprised to see it

Yes they're coming from China so yes they need to go through customs. I haven't heard of a single US distributor. The panel / sticker issue was the main reason I backed out of my initial order. The more I thought about ruining the panels by changing them the more I thought I should cancel. What they should have done is provide them preinstalled on their own metal panels that can be swapped out. But I've seen some nice wraps out there so we'll see.

I'm not worried about the panels.... heck I don't know why so many are complaining they are giving us 4 sets when most other devices come with one. When I think about it I will probably only use one or at most two of them for the life of the device. If you would run out you can get wood veneer at any wood working store and you could get some great looking Exotics if you would like to.
