CE4's are considered "disposable" clearomizers. They are not intended for prolonged use. They typically last between 2-4 weeks depending on how much they are used and the type of eliquid vaped in them. Then they need to be replaced.

You can get a decent little tank that will allow you to simply replace the coils, to use with your ego battery. I really liked the Protank 2 mini tank, or the eVod. They both take the same type of replacement coils, too. The Protank 2 mini is glass, while the eVod is a plastic type material. I prefer the flavor from the glass tanks, plus you can use any type of eliquid in them without having to worry if it will crack a plastic tank. These days, you can find these items for not much more than a ce4, and they'll last you a pretty long time. ecig.com was the cheapest I ever saw them, and the coils.
