Hey guys. Quick question.

Do any of you have a premixed base set up for your juices?

Currently make an 80/20 vg/PG mix at 3mg nic.

Only problem is making a new bottle (usually 10-30 ml at a time) is becoming more tedious then entertaining.

Is it OK to make a large batch of premixed based and take what I need for each bottle? If so can I also put nic inside or should I wait till I'm ready to make a new batch?

This is why I mix up 5 bottles at once.

If you have a 2 juice a 3 juice and a 4 juice 'mix you can keep everything consistent and learn how many ml of what = % will keep your true 80/20 ....this will take time but is pretty straight forward once you figure it out.

If you start making up a 80/20 bottles and you mix in 2 flavors you ratio will be one, if you mix in 4 flavors you PG VG ratios will be different. If you have bottles that are pre filled with the proper amount of vg/pg for 3 flavors vs 2 or 4 you will see the 'preset' levels are going to be different. Check the juice calc

Im know im bad at explaining this, so please bear with me. I know HIC or some of the other greats will explain this in a better way then I can.

Ah ok I gotcha I know what you mean now.

As far as keeping an 80/20 mix does having less VG due to the flavoring really make that much of a difference?

Considering in a 30ml bottle with a 3% total flavoring you're looking at 1ml ish flavor?

Not to me, but to some people it does....You might end up with a 83/27 or a 74/26....pretty sure you'll live :) Food for thought either way.

Hahaha true story lol. So instead of making a premix u just make a large batch of bottles at a time?

No i mix 5 bottles at once and try to keep is simple...but even then i still do individual pg and vg for each...so its together, but still apart..if that makes sense. If Im going to break all the bottles out.(these are nothing) then i need to go all in an mix at least 5...lately I have too many mixes and not enough time to test them.

This leave my steep box pretty full. I need like 3 more of these now...

I mix up a 300ml base at a time. When I mix up juice, I just add the needed flavorings. I don't account for the nic loss, it's negligible.

Huck is absolutely correct, but when I mix up 5ml or 10ml for samples, this may matter, or not. Im using .1 of flavorings on this scale so who knows...

It might not matter on the big bottles, but I just want to keep my notes as perfect as I can thats me.

Its all going to taste good either way :)

On the rare occasion I mix for someone else, I do it from point A to finished juice. My base mix is only for my own use. I'd rather make someone else's to their exact specs, so I'm super picky on that part.

I made a 1500 ml base at 80vg 20 pg and use that to mix. Just measure out my flavors drop in my nic and then fill to the neck with the base

I shoot for 70+ vg my nic is always 1.5 mg because i measure it out after flavors then just add my 80/20 base usually ending up aroud 74vg/26pg sometimes a little thinner if im working with weaker flavors.
The only time i care about vg/pg% is for cloud chasing. Then i just use vg and whatever single flavor around 5%
Im sure im alone in thinking that way.
If your shooting for ~80/20 juice over all start with a 85/15 base

Good to know. I personally don't care that much so I'm not super concerned with having anything but a 80/20 mix.

As long as it tastes good and is still vapable I'm all for it

I went to family dollar and got a clear squeeze bottle (mustard kind) and use it to hold my base that im gonna use soon. it makes mixing simple. I just mesure out my flavors for a 16 ml bottle, drop in my nic (vg based nic is hard to use in syringes) and then fill up the bottle from my "mustard" bottle and it makes mixing alot faster and i dont have to worry about cleaning 1000 syringes (i have a adverison to putting syringes back in a bottle after they have touched the juice bottle.) Just 5-10 depending on my mix/mixes that day.
