Hi there. I just got my first shipment of vapemail yesterday. I mixed up a few batches of 5ml liquid. I noticed today when I reused some plastic 10ml bottles for a 5ml batch that they where all a bit under half a bottle of a 10ml bottle. On a 5ml batch. Seams like I could have added a few more ml to make it a half a bottle, witch should be a half bottle because its a 10ml bottle...

So does that mean the bottles are actually a little bit bigger than 10ml? Because I was very carefull and got pretty close to the exact amount of pg and vg for each batch I made.

Also when I looked at my 5ml batches I used in empty 15ml glass bottles it looks like it would be short if i added 10 more ml's to those too. You know to make a 15ml batch.... (Hope I explained that right)

So thanks to all that read or comment. Have a nice day. ^_^

Of to work now.

Most of them have a ml or two of headroom/air space.

Also you do lose a bit in your blunt needles and mixing gear. Not sure what you're using but I use a glass beaker and it's nearly impossible to get all that vg that sticks to the side of it out unless you want to hold it upside down and let it drip for an hour.

Okay. I also did two 5ml batches with nic from VT and its pg base. I ts got a really harsh bite for only 6mg nic. But compared to the other test batches with no nic there seems to be more vg (witch I like) Im doing them 35 and 65 PG and VG. but I think I might have added a bit more vg and its really got a bit to it... I heard VT nic was supposed to be clean.

I don't know Im just starting.

try shooting for 70 vg to pg and see if that bite goes away.
Most calculators will factor in the pg from nic base and also flavorings.
what strength nic base are you mixing with>

PG definitely has more bite to it. Do what Big Nasty said, or a 50/50 mix.

I have a 48mg nic of 100%pg, only reason because Bullcity vapor was out of vg and I wanted to get all DIY at one go.

I am gonna add a bit more vg to it because its a little runny. so I think it might be closer to 55% with my nic mix. Its just hard to get the right amount of PG, VG, and NIC. With a basic plastic syringe.

Also I noticed according to my calculator having such a high PG of nic I cant really go aabove 65% vg before going nagative in PG..

I am using Ejuice me up calculator.

Thanks for the response.

Yeah usually I do a 70 vg or 80 vg mix with 3mg nic. I just wanted to make a few small batches of 6 or 10mg for the nights when I really want my NIC cravings. (IE drinking with friends or at home.) But boy that shit is ruff. lol

Also could anyone point me to a good place to buy plastic or glass bottles wholesale from USA at a good price? Found one cheap vender on ebay but its from china. Now that IM DYI Can't really wait month and a half for bottles.

I see that Bullcity vapor has a decent price range. Anyothers? They always seem to be out of whatever I really need. =(

OK tinkered around a bit, while waiting for the coffee to finish brewing.
With 48 mg 100% pg you can still achieve 6mg 70/30 vg to pg. The trick is going to be not exceeding 15% flavor in total, if in doubt consider it PG.
3 mg you can hit 75/25 almost 19% flavor.

OK lets look at this for an example. with 48 mg 100%pg nice base shooting for 6 mg, using my custard bean idea.
Flavors are in pg not in excess of 6% I have an 80/20 vg to pg ratio in my mg. at 8% flavor is a 75/25 roughly. I just do not add the extra pg the calc calls for since the pg is in the nic base and flavoring so it comes out still to around 80/20 at 6 mg.

That makes sense not adding what the calc is on the pg or flavoring. That is what your saying right?? Because if done it gives extra pg. I like a higher vg. But being a newb and getting a 100%Pg base nic seems to be F*ing my flow up a bit.

So not adding extra pg because its already in the nic aready has pg?

Just make sure you add VG for the PG you are not adding to keep your nic level the same.

Even if you mix a ton (like I do) mistakes can still happen.
I did a rough calculation last night grabbed the wrong sized syringe, mix a bottle and went about my merry until I tried to vape it.
I could not figure out why it was so harsh and bit me like a pissed off horse. Cut it in half and went about business until this morning and it dawned on me what sized measurement I used. Double checked it and low and behold instead of 6 mg the first bottle was 36 mg. drip that at .25 will peel your eye lids back, leave ya feeling like the Japanese dude from raiders of the lost arc.
