Anybody have anything to say about it? There isn't really much on the internet about it anywhere really other than places selling it.

It was brought to my attention by a local shop. I'm looking around, trying to find a regulated mod in the 80-100w range, that has both replaceable batteries, AND USB charge. This one was what they pushed. The only things holding me back is the lack of info on the internet and the 26650 battery. (Only because I have 2 PAIRS of 18650's ready for a box, not a deal breaker if the TNT is worth it)

Rats, I was just about to launch my 400watt Temp Control mod, the Nitroglycerine 400. Now I have to find a new name...

don't waste your time with these unknown mods they aren't even 1 hit wonders just clones of a clone.
spend your investment more wisely on a established chipset.
sx mini , iPV3 Li , sigelei 150 watt

I'm sorry... but this logic makes absolutely no sense. How would the chipsets used in your recommended mods ever have become "established" if people followed that logic last year, last month, etc.

I would add though that the only reason to buy the Encom TNT 80W is for the 26650 battery format. If you don't have or don't want to adopt that format, don't buy the mod. And I wouldn't trust any device that does not provide full detailed specifications. No where is the voltage range specified for the TNT leaving you to guess if the device will be suitable for your intended use. I wouldn't buy it, but not for the reasons provided by others.

Well said. Thanks!

I have seen this mod at a few local shops, and all of f the others have heard about it as well, but no one seems to have any, or know someone who has any experience with it. Good or bad. That also points to NO in my opinion. Is it that new of a product, or are people just not buying it?

If it was an unknown product that performed well, it would quickly become known and reviewed. People aren't buying it because no one wants to take a chance and get burned with a cheap mod that doesn't perform. If it's any good, it will be reviewed.

Thankfully we have as wide selection of vape reviewers who get sent stuff all the time, and even some who just review what they got. Give it time and a review should pop up somewhere. I've seen a few reviewers who will honestly say something is shit if its shit, not always tho.

I just saw this mod at a local shop and the guy said they have sold about 15 so far and none have come back with any problems. There was also an employee there that loved his.

The size and build quality is excellent and I am very tempted to pick one up to take on the road but since there is not much info out there I am hesitant. I was initially planning on picking up a Evic VTC Mini for the road so I could leave my Sig 150TC at home but the TNT 80 is not much bigger. I don't need TC and 80 watts is more than enough.

Just a heads up, my buddy found a crazy deal on these for only $35.99, comes to about $41 shipped from here: https://www.vaporworld.biz/new/encom-tnt-26650-80w-box-mod/

At that price I decided to give it a go and will update the tread when it arrives. Only about 22 black left in stock though, was 25 when I first took a look. They have plenty of silver though.

I bought these as well since I don't have batteries, not a bad price and the shipping cost stayed the same: https://www.vaporworld.biz/new/back...00mah-40a-high-drain-flat-top-battery-2-pack/

There are at least 6-8 reviews of this device on youtube. The 2 that I watched said it is a solid device and battery life is fantastic with the 26650 design. Let us know how you like it.

My son has one and it's become his go-to mod. He uses a trident on it, usually with a 0.3 ohm coil. He's had it for about 2 months and it has worked flawlessly.

Just got mine in and have been vaping away for a good hour already. Working like a champ with my Crown tank.

Wanted something smaller than the Sig 150TC I have for the road but still have great battery life. Here is a comparison pic with my Kanger Kbox which is a single 18650:

A little heavier than my Sig 150TC, the TNT 80 weighs 300 grams with battery installed, Sig 281 grams with batteries installed.

Buttons have a little bit of rattle to them but there nice and clicky and overall it is a great deal for $35.99 + shipping.

Thank you for sharing your experience with it. I've been wanting a single 26650 mod. Hopefully more models start to will show up. It's great that you posted the weight. That's a big deciding factor for me. I'll wait for a lighter mod with temp control and step down.

I forgot to mention that the battery alone weighs 90 grams, without the battery the TNT 80 then must weigh 210 grams.

Sigelei should have there single 26650 mod out in a few weeks. I am not too crazy about the look but hopefully more come out soon. Since I have never really felt the need to use TC and the info out there that nickel wire is not really safe to vape I am happy with this especially for the price.

As far as the nickel is concerned I have a side business and make custom Jewelry and use nickel from time to time but try to avoid it as much as possible. Many people have allergies to nickel and whenever I have to use it as an alloy I would always wear a respirator when melting due to it's toxicity. I never understood why nickel would ever be used for vaping, bad idea in general. Not sure on Titanium, never really worked with it so I never looked into it. Stainless steel for TC sounds more reasonable and I hope people get away for using Ni200 for TC, just not worth the risk IMO.

Definitely agree. I only use temp control with stainless steel wire. I don't have a SS TC mod but it works well on my VTC Mini in Ti mode with a .5Ω coil set really low, like 220ºF. Every couple of days it'll jump back into power mode, but that doesn't hurt stainless steel coils at all. If somebody came out with a single 26650 mod that did SS TC it would be glorious.

So far battery life is great. Started using the TNT 80 with my crown tank at between 40 and 50 watts depending on the juice at about 5 PM last night till about 2 AM when we got home. Been using it today since about 10 AM while watching football and still have 50% of the battery left.

As Mike Vapes mentioned in his youtube review the battery is a little tricky to get in, luckily I had already watched his review so knew how to get it in already. Unlike his review unit mine does have polarity markings so you know how to orient your battery right away.

It does go into standby, not sure how long, I have heard 15 to 20 minutes. Not a big deal to just give it 5 clicks to turn back on but I am not used to that with my other 3 sub ohm mods.

I have the .25 ohm coil in my Crown and normally I like to run it around 55 to 60 watts on my Sig 150TC, any lower and I get a little spit back at first. With the TNT it runs well between 40 to 60 and heats up the coils well at 40 watts that I am not getting any spit back. I don't know if it has a boost at first but just tried my Sig 150TC at 45 watts with the Crown and there is a little crackle on the coils from the juice not heating up fast enough on the first draw. Seems like the coil heats up faster with the TNT than the Sig, might try and see if that the case with a RDA and coils without the cotton to see how fast the coils glow.

I did try 80 watts with the TNT just to see, usually never go over 65 watts. It definitely heats up fast and with a long draw can get dry.

Not sure on the threads of the TNT, looks like it might be gold plated brass, hoping it's gold plated stainless steel. Haven't had any problems with the treads but doesn't seem as nice as the sigs.

If I was buying today based on what I already know I would probably pick the TNT over the Sig 150TC and pocket the $30 difference. I don't have any need for TC and really just want battery life which the TNT is definitely delivering. I still love the Sig though but if DNA 200 box mods come down to a more reasonable price I will probably replace it and keep the TNT for the road.

We have these at our local B+M and a few of guys have purchased them for use with their dripping atties. Stick a .2 - .3 build in it and it works like a champ. There are virtually no functions - just on/off and up/down. The caveat is that I've seen it being used after a week or two and not longer than that. So it works kind of like a mech mod TBH. But it has the 26650 battery and you can at least adjust the wattage and get a constant stable vape. I'm seriously contemplating picking one up. The only box that measures up to it for price isd the BB Box which is thinner and slightly taller. I was about to pull the trigger on a BB but now I'm holding off. I cannot decide between the two and I have enough mods to think it out first and wait for more reviews after people have used it for a couple of months and not a few weeks.

I actually wasn't interested in it at all when my friend told me about it, didn't have any 26650 batteries nor wanted to buy any. It wasn't until I went to a local B&M and they had all the colors in stock . I called my friend to say they were here locally and he asked if I could check it out and let him know what I thought. After messing with it for awhile and using it with my tank I was very impressed but still was not interested in buying it for $72 + they wanted $12 for a single 26650 + tax. I told my friend if I already had 26650 batteries like he does I would pick it up but the cost of admission was more than I was willing to pay. A couple of weeks later he sends me the link to vapor world and after thinking about it for about 10 minutes I ordered it. $60 for a mod that really impressed me and (2) 26650 batts was too good to pass up.

Your right in that it is simple, I like it for that as I just want to vape, not mess with it. I installed a battery a little over 24 hours ago and have been using it exclusively so a full days worth of solid vaping was my main criteria for a more compact mod. I was almost going to buy the Evic VCT Mini for my road mod and just carry around an extra set of 18650's, this mod kicks the Evic's ass as long as you don't need TC.

I forgot I had taken a pic for my friend at the vape shop for size comparisons compared to the Smok Xcube II and a sig 150TC they had there.

I didn't take a pic of the evic VTC mini for comparison but it wasn't that much smaller so that is when my focus shifted to this mod instead.

OMG! Vapor World just dropped the price to $29.99, I am tempted to buy a silver one: https://www.vaporworld.biz/new/encom-tnt-26650-80w-box-mod/

Shipping is a flat $4.99 or free over $75. I am going to buy empty bottles for my DIY efforts, there prices are real good, you just have to buy a bunch. Gonna have to give this some thought for a second TNT as I use my black one everyday, more than my Reuleaux DNA 200 which is just a home mod. Got a Reuleaux RX200 on the way though too in black which would be a road mod.

The TNT is a great mod though is you want a compact all day vape, the triple 18650 Reuleaux does last longer though.
