Posting in this thread makes you eligible for a SS Merlin. As per the first post following Leon on Instagram makes you eligible for a Black Merlin. I don't do Instagram so I'm only entered here. I have terrible luck in giveaways so it's not a big deal

Hello, everyone! augvapeofficial asked me in a message on Instagram to remind everyone on here that in order to be entered in the Instagram contest, you must follow all the rules on the contest picture there, including reposting the picture. I was also asked to explain how to do that for those that may not know. As far as I know, the only way to repost on Instagram is to take a screenshot and then post that picture. Pressing the power button and home button simultaneously is a fairly standard way of doing that on most smart phones, or maybe the power button and volume down button if you don't have a home button. Then just post the picture as you normally would.
Here's a list of some hashtags you folks that are new to Instagram can use if you want to just pick and choose or copy and paste.

Well.. I guess the first thing I need to do is create an acct on Instagram? As I said, I DL'ed the app when I got my new phone, trying out all this social media crap that seems to entrance everyone, but I'm not even really sure what Instagram is, or does, or what it's for. The only way I could get text onto an image would be to do it via my PC rather than my phone; copy an image, open it in photoshop, and add text to it... seems like the only thing to do. And I don't even know 3 shops around here, nevermind know if they're on Instagram! And really don't know that many people, and nobody on instagram -- I'm a hermit! No friends!
This is why I'm thinking the instagram thing is really not something I can do. I can twitter all day, but all the folks I read/talk to there are all over the world, I don't know any of them personally.

What Roxy said! I never used Instagram before myself, and had no friends on Instagram. I just used the names of people that had already commented.
I think now you can use your Facebook to create an account. Doing that will get you some friends quicker as it will use your Facebook friends and let them know you are on Instagram now.It should have the option there on the "create account" screen. But if not, yes you do have to have an account to use it. There are a lot of people on there who use the same name as they do on the forum. At the bottom of the screen there is a magnifying glass. You can use it to search for usernames. Use the @ symbol for usernames or you can search by their real name, too I think. My name is the same as here so you can add me if you want.
The Regrann is definitely an option for reposting. I just found it yesterday. If you want to try it, I can explain it to you. Otherwise, you can find @augvapeofficial on Instagram and take a screen shot of the contest picture he posted. Then use the camera icon at the bottom of the screen. Hit the arrow on the top left. The next page is where you can add the hashtags, which just make the picture show up when someone searches for keywords. So #merlin would make it show up when someone searched that. Add those in the caption section. You can also tag people on this screen. If you need some shops, search for @roguevapers @nativevapors501 @vaporworld_centralarkansas You can also just go ahead and make the post, then go back later an tag people as you get some friends on there. You may have to follow them in order to tag them, so just search for them and look at their profile and click follow.
If you need any more help, let me know. It shold be a lot easier once you're doing it. I know it looks like a lot, but I tend to ramble. Also, I use the app on Android, so I'm not sure but it should look really similar on an iPhone if you're using that.
