I'm the opposite. It's easier for me to pile on clothes and blankets than it is for me to cool down.
I used to be the same way until I moved from Maryland to Florida for over 10 years and worked outside pretty much all year round. That year round warm / hot to inferno Florida weather thinned my blood. LOL Even though I've been back up here in Md. for the last 8 years, I'm still not used to the cold weather.

View attachment 79310 They are Pussy Willows in their full spring garb, later they'll fuzz and turn a shade of yellow.

Beautiful, @happy valley. I'm a gardener and have been for years - here in the heat of AZ. Too bad nothing but tumble weeds grow here. Just kidding. At least it will grow roses and other plants like lavender, herbs, ground cover as long as it's against the south wall where the sun can bake damned hear everything. Where I am now, I have 2 rose bushes and a tree that needs water every 48 hours or 22lbs of dead leaves fall.
Other plants grow here. My old front lawn had a colorful display of cacti. Many nearly all, bloomed at sunset.

@Ms. Trixy Southern AZ, land of xerascaping, it can be nice though. I used to live outside Sedona on Oak Creek, still dry but a tad cooler.

@happy valley > I so love Southern AZ. My folks have been in Prescott for 20 years. I love going up there. So many wonderful things. I should get myself to the red mountains and relax. Parka cold and beautiful afternoons. Sedona is so soothing.

I agree as well.

Some people wake up and say "Good morning Lord" I woke up and said "Good lord it's morning"!

I grew up in Texas then lived in Hawaii for 15 years before moving to Wisconsin 23 years ago. I'm still not used to the cold weather. :giggle: My preference is for the weather to be between 55-70. I can deal with that. Higher or lower messes with my body something fierce.

I'd love to visit Hawaii. Veg out on the beach, sipping a cold drink and playing the ukulele.

Trust me, it's a nice place to visit but it truly sucks to live there. Especially if you don't have much money. :giggle: I do miss some things about it, though. Stunning sunsets, but when you're single, those kinda suck, too. :teehee:

Sorry, Khassy. Just venting. Actually you don't want to be within 20ft of me when I am venting.
When I'm REALLY venting, you best duck, run for cover and ...well, I'll stop there.
