Speaking of hyper mods, it is not that 200w power any more. In the end of last year, manufacturers released new hyper mods, many of them features an above 300w output power. Apparently, it is a trend of hyper mods for the year of 2017! Here we introduce you 4 hyper mods:

Wismec RX300, 42mmx58mmx81.7mm in size, features a 1.5 amp charging rate tech, first introduced on a mod which enables a fast while balance charge.

Smok GX350, 58×40.4×84.5mm in size, features a 350w maximum output power, up to 220W when power by 2 x 18650 batteries.

iJoy EXO 360, 58x40x84mm in size, features a 360w maximum output power, adopts a Reuleaux style design which could be smoothly turned even it is fully gripped in your palm.

Vapeonly Hack, 59mmx41.5mmx91.5mm in size, features real time batteries detection, a very humanizing operation interface, firmware upgradable!

1. Do you think is there really necessary to have a 300w output power mod?

Not really. Although I do not think 300 watts is necessary, I do think the battery life when running at reasonable wattages can't be beat.

2. Let us know the highest output power mod you have/had

I have the Ijoy Maxo 315 and the Koopor Primus 300. I've never gone past around 145 watts, though.

1. Do you think is there really necessary to have a 300w output power mod?
- Absolutely not however extra battery life isn't bad.
2. Let us know the highest output power mod you have/had
- 300° on a Ijoy Maxo with Enigma tank just to test.
3. Among the 4 mods we listed above, which do you like? Why?
- Either Smok GX350 or Ijoy EXO 360 because they both look BAD ASS.
4. What kind of material are you using as your wick, cotton, rayon?
- Cotton Bacon 2.0, nothing more, nothing less.

Although I have one each of almost every Reuleaux put out to date, the ability to use 2 or 4 batteries in the Smoke and the Ijoy mods is nice. I like versatility! The Smok, however, runs up to 220 with 2 batteries... something I do not think the Ijoy can match, yet. For this reason, I'll choose the Smok.

4. What kind of material are you using as your wick, cotton, rayon?

I have a drawer in my desk reserved for wicking. In that drawer, you'll find Organic Japanese Cotton Sheets, Organic Cotton Balls, Cotton Bacon 2.0, Native Wicks Platinum, Silica (Ekowool), stainless mesh and cable, and Rayon (Cellucotton). I use all of them from time to time. If I had to select just one, I'd likely go with Rayon because of its cost. I have also tried the degummed hemp... in a word, awful!

Of course, there is not only a novelty aspect of having something that will push that much power but with the right RDA like the 46mm Alliance FatBoy i have it can be used if you wanted to.

1. No I do not think it is necessary to have such high powered devices. I guess the battery life would be nice though.

Not about the contest but do any of these fire under .1? Or do they only fire over 200w between .2-.3 Ohms? The reason people need those crazy high wattages are for coils in the .05 range....they need that amount of power just to fire the coils at a decent temperature...The high wattage for higher resistance doesnt make any sense to me but most people love these mods for the battery life, not for the wattage they advertise. They would sell just as many if they were 150w and fired 150w at any resistance...

I wish they made one of these 250-350w boxes fire 150-200w in the .05-.08 range instead....that would be a selling point to the building community but I guess the Hohm Wrecker G2 and DNA200/250 still run that area

The power is really not needed but it's nice to have extra battery life. I'm not a big fan of the watt war. bigger isn't always better

I'd say the GX350. I wish mod makers would center the 510 on these big mods so they look nice with 30mm tanks. IDK why they don't. The GX350 is the nicest looking and smok has a good chip and good quality lately.

1.300w sounds crazy as the most I vape is 75w. Honestly I don't think many could vape 300 comfortably
