Good Morning All! Well here in the midwest, they figure the weather has been so....they extended our heat advisory another 24 hours from last night. Right now it's beach weather (556am cst) 79 feels like 84! No sun required LOL n UGH! When I laid down last night it was 82 and who cared then what the head index was LOL Maybe I'll find a shady spot and just let the hose pour over me LOL (yes what we need is a waterproof vape LOL It's days like this I'm reminded we don't melt so much as sweat; Stay Hydrated!

Getting ready to fix dinner, what to make? Looks like rain in the forecast for the next few days- good I need a break from yard work!
Misswish I am a seeing aide for my hubby- he cannot read or see any small print. I on the other hand cannot see past my nose for distance I wear my glasses, but take them off to read!

I can't do yard work for all this doggone rain the yard just about gets dry enough to mow and boom rain again

Daughter's tattoo is great! Very delicate infinity symbol with the word remember in it. She was nervous but did just fine. Chiropractor hurt me so good! I'm starting to stiffen up but the ice pack is helping. I hope you all had a good day, sweet dreams!

We have an unwelcome visitor - Thank God hubby saw this thing , can you imagine weeding and unknowingly stick you hand near this!


Yes that is a huge snapping turtle, he is about 24" long and very heavy- we were going to try to get it back down to the creek, but way too nasty to try to move! This thing is right by my front door walkway under a huge Hosta! Hubby saw it on the walkway as it slithered to my Hosta!

Wow! 24" snapper? That's huge!... biggest ours get around here is a foot.

Yes, he is pretty big- super long tail and his neck is long too, big claws and fat meaty legs! We tried to scoop him unto a snow shovel and much too big and heavy. I told hubby and son to leave the poor thing alone- he lived this long and he will move on! I have seen bigger than him, quite common on the roads here, but usually only get the smaller painted turtles this close to the house!
I can't believe people eat these- yuck-
Love your Deer! We get many of them too - they are always so beautiful!

Back is doing better... spent all day yesterday and most of today working on the system. It's up and running. Gotta get new speakers, but other than that.. so far so good. Win 10 is not as bad as I thought it would be... they've made a lot of changes to it to make it more like the older versions.

PS... You might wanna wait until Friday to make that order

Good Monday Morning? Raining again, thunder and lightning and the stupid Direct TV(dish) is out again! Looking to go back to Spectrum TV (cable) soon, contract is up in Dec for Direct, but it really sucks when you can't watch TV when it is stormy out!

We've always used Dish here.... I think in the 9 years we've been here it's gone out maybe 5 times... and even that was only for a few mins.

We had Dish for about 15 years, until the last rate hike. Hubby talked to customer service and was majorly disrespected. I was sitting right there listening as he had it on speaker. I was so shocked at that ***** woman! So we now have Direct. Hey, we got nearly 1/2 an inch last night! Very nice.
