Hi guys, been a while since I even open this app.
Anyway, I just got me the Envii Loch Ness, the next best thing from the original stabilized wood Loch Ness that is oh so expensive.
I really like the mod so far, but one thing I can't find anywhere, and I've been searching high and low, in Tapatalk, youtube ans Google, is "Whose signature is on the back of the box?"
Anyone has any idea?

It's the one in the middle, flanked by the stealth Provari Radius and Hohm Slice, nice eh?

Yes Sir, firmware update HAS to be done for temp control operation. Also takes care of firing delay. TC will not work properly until it's done either. Once update is done...mod works quite nicely.

I don't think I've ever even tried the tc on my loch ness, I use a few other mods for tc. How does it do in tc? My only complaint is the firing delay, can't wait to get to a Windows pc to update. Did the update make a big difference in the firing? Is it fast or just meh

After update there is NO noticeable delay, before update, yeah, it's pretty slow firing. TC works nicely but it is not comparable to either Yihi or DNA performance. Still works good but more, different tuning options. You're going to need to read the instructions to use the mod properly in TC. All in all, I like it. It's great around the house. A little big for taking out though LOL.

Lmao definitely not a pocket mod. I've had mine over 3 months without any issues to speak of but seldom use it cuz of the firing delay

Update is super simple once you find a proper fitting data transfer c.apable USB cable. Feel free to ask if you have any questions and want to get it done.

It's deep but it doesn't have the data transfer connections, won't work for upgrade. They're easy to find if you have a Fry's Electronics gadget store in your area.

Envii told me that newer ones would be getting a usb cable that can transmit data and charge. I bought a Blue one when they came out to test it, and they offered to send me a cable, but I just trimmed down one of many micro usb cables I have, and updated just fine. It does need the update, but then this is a champ. I haven't opened any I have in stock to check the usb cable, but I waited on them for a bit for that reason.

Vape Envii is incredibly responsive on Facebook. I gotta give them huge props for that. They respond really promptly and helped me with the firmware. They are a refreshingly good company to deal with from my experience.

It's really a great mod. The size isn't bad, and I think the form factor makes up for it. And the catch cup is really nice for attys that fit. You can really get a stealth look. I've been carrying my blue one today with a TFV8. Gotta use the flat top cap, but it looks nice. Really good mods, and my sweat destroys rubber finishes usually. This one is still flawless. I love rubbery finishes, so it's robust quality is a big plus for me.

All in all, yes, Envii is a stand out company to deal with. They don't screw around when it comes to customer service. Right now I'm enjoying my Loch Ness with an Artisan on top filled up with Dis Won Funnel Cake. Real nice, stylish vape.

Well, I have seen numerous Loch Ness mods that have had the coating all torn up but mine still looks brand new, just like it came out of the box. And mine is a first production run mod so don't know how these mods are peeling but some are...some aren't.

Mine is an early one as well. It's the Blue, I love rubberized finishes, but they always come off. My sweat can kill some finishes. Mine is as good as day 1. I haven't been rough with it, but I haven't been easy on it either. I tend to kind of purposefully not baby mods I purchase as testers to determine wether I want to carry them.

I can only speak for my experience, but the finish has held up surprisingly well for my expectations. It looks new. It really is an awesome mod IMO.

I'm right there with you. It's been a good mod. And it feels great in your hand, very comfortable to use.
