Seen this interesting RTA for the people who like high watts. it's made for up to 8 vertical coils. They claim 300+ watts with no dry hits

Oh... boy.

Another one of these.

I hate these 4-12 coil tanks. It's the lazy way out in my opinion, as I can build TWO coils that can take around 600W and produce tons of clouds. Simply adding more coils is the laziest way of adding vapor production or wattage range to your builds, and none of these tanks ever vaped well either.

Also, you sit down and hand wrap 8 fucking coils and tell me if you're looking forward to the next rebuild. You know how many hot spots 8 coils can throw out after being freshly built?

Not just that they have to be 8 identical spaced coils so they all make contact.

Not in the market for one, but you aren't coiling anything. You are taking their springs/coils and running cotton through then compress the spring and snap it into place. They come with little silicone plugs so you can run from 1-8 coils. Until the silicone gets a bit loose anyway.

The usual places have this tank on offer. I'd get one from a place that has an easy return policy.

I rolled the dice on the Eco 12 coil tank and quickly realized I'd never buy another tank like it again. It was WEIRD, sometimes it would handle the rated 350W or so, other times it decided 200W was too much for it. I HATED that tank.

thats odd. I hit it at 300 watts with the T16 coil no issues

I saw a terra at the local shop months ago. It was definitely cool looking but the way it is built is really odd. It doesn't have screws. The coils (which you buy in a Pack) are compressed into place. One compression plate is the negative the other is the positive. It would be tough to build on from how it seems unless a guy is really really good at building micro coils and guaranteeing they all fire right without messing around with them.

I saw it at a local shop as well a few months ago. I checked it out and thought....hmmmm, no. I was back there earlier this week and asked the shop owner if they sold any, no, he hasn't sold a single one.

I tried all the coil heads the kit included. It was odd, sometimes they would work at their advertised wattage ranges, sometimes not. It clearly wasn't a connection issue as the resistance reading was fairly stagnant and wasn't bouncing around. So I have no clue what caused it.

Then I tried to use the RTA deck and hated it because it took me 20 minutes to get the build finished.

The t16 I don't think comes in the kit. I'd have to check. Its The biggest baddest coil they make

I ordered two extras when I pre-ordered it. The RTA deck and the biggest coil they offered, the 350W one. So I guess it was the T16 then.

It worked fine the first, day or two, I had it. Then when it sat for about a week with no use, I went back to it and it couldn't handle over 200W without burning the cotton. Put it down again, tried it two days later, no burnt hits. This was a cycle that repeated for about a month until I simply gave up on the stock coil heads (I tried multiple, it wasn't just ONE bad head, it happened on all three) and went to the RTA deck. Then I realized it was a deceptive bitch to build on so I sold the tank to a kid who was asking where he could buy a '500W retail mod' in a vape shop because he seemed like he wanted it way more than I did when he saw it.

That kid still has the damned thing, too. I see him vaping on it every time I go into the local H20 because I think he lives there or some shit. He's ALWAYS fucking there. This is the same kid who brought an old SMY 260W mod to the shop and sat it down, only for it to fucking idle vent and somehow end up on fire whilst sitting on the counter, so I'm not too surprised.

What the hell. It vented while just sitting?

Yep. Before SMY changed their name they made some fucking shitty shit. The God Mod was a big enough insult on its own, then came the 260W. It's the only retail mod I have EVER heard of, that had MULTIPLE incidents reported of batteries venting / PCB's shorting and causing fires whilst not even being used.

I owned a God Mod 220 WAY back in the day and it was a POS. It fired at a MUCH higher power setting than what you had it set at, the ohm reader was balls, it had a bunch of absolutely useless features (some of which were dangerous like auto fire mode (seriously)) and I remember the 510 had a fucking beauty ring around it that could be taken off to accommodate EGO THREADING. A 180W/220W mod with fucking ego threading. Yeeeaaah.
