Ok. So my first question is. Is it possible to build a box mod that uses 4x 18650's. But have 2 sets of series. Basically have a parallel series box. This may sound stupid. But I'd like to know if it is possible.

One set of 2 18650's in series. And another completely separate set but wired so both sets work in parallel with each other. If I'm thinking correctly it would bring the volts to 16.8. And if the batteries are rated at 20amps each it would split the load between the 2 sets of series and bring the amp load to 40.

I may be wrong but I though I should ask before doing this and blow up 4 18650's.

I'm only asking because of what I think makes sense. And what I'm trying to achieve isn't exactly the same thing. I know that 2 batteries put in series will double the volts. But what if you have 2 sets of series batteries. What I'm saying is well. To put it in visual form would be: [^v] [^v]. But I wanted to make the 2 separate sets of series batteries work in parallel with each other. In theory it would be a 8.4 series with another 8.4 series but wired in parallel. So It would end up being 8.4 volts with better mah and higher amps.
