Evic mini lose fire

Hi,

I need your assistance. I left my evic mini near the sink and accidentally bumped and it was poured in the water. I tried to dry it up. It turns on but it never fires. It seems that the problem is the firing button only. Please help how can i fix my vape

That worked for one of mine when I dropped it into my drink. Different mod, but it helped.

I've used the rice trick to revive all sorts of dead electronics, not just mods.

try leaving it in a bowl of rice over night
Get some dry silica pouches, much better than rice. The problem with rice is that it can actually cause more harm than good. It tends to leach starch into the electronics as it's pulling the water out. This can actually wreak havoc with your electronics, leading to premature failure.

I dropped my cellphone in a fresh water bait tank fishing at the lake..when I got home I took the batt out and laid the phone face down in the hot sun..turned it over and let bake a few more hours on the other side
It actually was hot to the touch when I put it back together, and much to my surprise worked again perfectly...might work with a mod too, don't know for sure though..

Lol RICE???Cmon guys we are smarter then this... Should I add vegetables? Do I put it in the microwave? Also: gluten free or does it matter?

The gelatinization process (where rice starts to absorb water) of rice doesn't happen till you heat it past 150 degrees and add water to it. That is a fact and simple science. If you put it in rice and the thing works again, that simply means it needed to dry out. Rice was not the reason it miraculously sprung back into action.

People believe this nonsense because of putting rice in salt shakers but the rice doesn't absorb anything. It just keeps the salt from clumping. Pull a bag of rice out that's been sitting in your cupboard for a year and you'll see it's still hard. Hasn't absorbed a drop of moisture....

Sorry guys, just like the moon landings, rice is simply a myth that needs to die.

Take the mod apart and see what it looks like inside. Youll have a much better chance of saving it then you would by wasting some perfectly good rice.
