My friend from Cali just sent me an Evic VT and a whole bunch of juice. Pretty happy right now and the mod came with an Aspire Atlantis tank and a pack of coils. I have an Ego One that I purchased about a week ago too. I was just wondering if anyone else used these particular devices. It'd be nice to chat with someone who uses the same mods.

I have a so called black eGo One 2200mah. It's not black, but is a very dark brown. I bought it to go to work with. But it leaks. Does not matter how it's setup, what juice is used. At some point in the day it will throw up on it's self. Lay it down or stand it up. Let it set there and not touch it. and juice will leak. Vape on it, it will leak. Local vape store won't exchange it or give me my money back. So the owner of the shop will get kicked in the nuts when I see him out of his shop around town after I heal from my recent surgery. It's a shame. I like the little rig. It vapes better than my istick30 with a natulas mini modded for more air flow. I was in Tulsa this monday and stopped at a few vape shops. Those idiots were wanting $80 to $85 plus tax for a eGo One. I paid $60 out the door for mine and that was $30 to much for china junk.

The eGo ONE 1100mAh used to be my go-to setup for leaving the house (bringing a back battery or two). I absolutely loved the thing, but the eGo ONE coil heads are just terrible. When they work, they are fantastic, but they rarely do. Leaking, dry hits, and the list goes on. After inspecting the coils I fell like the small wicking holes must be responsible for all of the problems. If Joyetech released new coil heads for the eGo ONE tanks I would definitely bring them back into my rotation.

I think i'm going to try out Cloupor's eGo ONE equivalent and see how I like it.

I use the evic vt for work, & it's great. Good battery life with temp control coils on it. Doesn't come close to my snow wolf though but it for sure does the job.

Have you tried the CLR coils for the eGo One? They're all I use. No leaking at all and they're rewickable and rebuildable. The normal CL coils really do suck. I won't touch one. One thing to note though, the 1 ohm CLR coils have really tight airflow but the .5 ohm and Ti heads are very open.

I really disagree with whoever thinks the Ego One's sub-ohm coils aren't that great. I've even ordered a five pack of the 0.5 ohm and I've been on one coil for about a week. No declination in performance has been detected, and there's also no leakage. I bought it on Ebay, Christmas day for $30, then the same deal went to $44.99 so I lucked out.

We don't think they aren't great, the CL coils are legitimately awful at wicking. The Ti CL coil was the only one that was remotely usable. Maybe they work with 50/50 or lower VG juice, but they definitely did not wick any of the juices I vape. The eGo One CLR coils wick anything I throw at them. Are you sure that you're using the CL and not the CLR .5 ohm heads?

Idk... But I bought a pack of 0.5 coils and they came made already and they're not the titanium or nickel coils.

I know how to wick mine though, close the airflow and take a few good puffs to see the bubbles rise. That is after applying the 4 holes where you can see the cotton.
