Not really much to upgrade with a Evod maybe a lower ohm attachment which will lessen your run time. Now if your thinking of a new PV I would suggestwhat is the best way to upgrade my evod that I bought two weeks ago ?
Max.You can get new tanks for the top of Evod, mini-protanks work well on these. The mini protank 3's also allow you to use the sub-ohm coils they now have for the Kanger Protank III's.
Max.
Where do you find these? I rebuild my coils and have enough of the atomizers to start my own juice bar, and approximately 20 bases. But over time I am losing the tanks due to cracking, which usually results from dropping them and not juice type. So any info you could offer for a source for the tanks would be appreciated. Replacement bases/O-rings would be appreciated as well. Hate to pay 4-8 bucks for a new EVOD when all I need is the tank.
Yes you can use the subohm heads but they will not register on the ego style batteries. Most won't register anything lower than 1 ohm.You can get new tanks for the top of Evod, mini-protanks work well on these. Took the reply right out of my mouth. Since you're into rebuilding coils, just make sure everything stays safe. Like Bahas said, you need to make sure you stay at a safe ohm level when working with smaller batteries. Not implying you didn't already know that, but it's good for the information to be all over the new users forum.Yes you can use the subohm heads but they will not register on the ego style batteries. And you took the reply right out of my mouth! I'm happy to see people using safe practices with the new Kanger coils. I know that has been a source of anxiety for some folks.Took the reply right out of my mouth. Since you're into rebuilding coils, just make sure everything stays safe. Well, I just assume no one wants to damage their battery, or endanger themselves. Luckily, most of the eGo-style batteries have protection built-in to prevent firing outside of the acceptable ohm range. If not, please exercise extreme caution in rebuilding coils! Have a voltmeter, and know how to use it!And you took the reply right out of my mouth! I'm happy to see people using safe practices with the new Kanger coils. Hey John, what is the best way to upgrade my evod that I bought two weeks ago ?
can i use sub ohm on this ?Not really much to upgrade with a Evod maybe a lower ohm attachment which will lessen your run time. Now if your thinking of a new PV I would suggest
Innokin iTaste MVP V2.0

The short and sweet answer is no. The MVP 2.0 is a regulated device with a specific range that the ohms must be. The effective range it can run is 1.2-2.5 ohms. You could run it at 1.0 but you wouldn't be getting the best usage of the device. Hope that helps some.can i use sub ohm on this ?
Amen brother, when I was in my EVOD stage, I was shelling out $10 for 15 ml... Now I can make about 300 ml (0%nic) for about $12. I have moved to a regulated mod and a Kayfun Lite. Last night, I ordered a Sentinal M-16 and a dripper, 100' of 28ga Kanthal and 4 Panasonic batteries. Other than my hardware vaping is almost free next to smoking. Thats a real no brainer! Good Luck, if you have any questions.. Im here.Galaxyrider I agree with you. I also see a lot of people go back to smoking or never giving it up 100% if they stay with the cheaper mods, like the low level spinners. I use my spinners and vv3 at work all the time, but when I come home, I use the higher power more expensive stuff. I honestly think if I didn't upgrade to better mods and tanks, I would not have been successful at quitting. But it may be because I go to the message boards for support, which a lot of my coworkers who didn't succeed, did not. It makes a big difference. The one thing I am finding out, is making your own ejuice is so much cheaper and I actually find myself reaching for the stuff I made rather than the stuff I bought and I am only a beginner DIYer. If I can do it, anybody can. So take the money you save making your ejuice and find a really good setup that suits you. You won't regret it. I still love my evods and I recoil them to save money and also recoil my coworkers so she will save money. She hasn't succeeded in quitting all the way, but she's getting there. Now if I can just convince her to come to the forum, I think she will succeed for sure. Vape with whatever gives you satisfaction, but when you start to feel like it isn't doing the job, don't be afraid to experiment with new stuff.
