FA Forest Fruit Mix Experiments

Starting experimentation with FA Forest Fruit Standalone has me mixing several batches of juice at a variety of PG/VG ratios as follows 70/30....65/35....60/40.....55/45....50/50.........Flavor percentage is at 3%.....1 Day steep, and then 70 minutes in a pair of socks thrown into my clothes dryer......Attempting to find a pleasing PG/VG ratio/taste/mouthfeel/bouquet for my DIY mixes as I have chosen a Tesla Mod with tanks and not looking for Max VG type equipment......Vaped the 65/35 version tonite.......Beginnings of a pleasing flavor, similar to that of a house brand Zombie juice made on the spot vape shop, locally.........Not quite the throat hit of a Higher PG liquid, however, a more open flavor starting to come out.......18mg Nic.........Some what of a "manufactured" lingering taste here, but not too bad of a vapor (not searching for massive cloud).......Wondering, perhaps if that "manufactured" taste will go away after a little more time maturing........OR whether this is gonna be a PG/VG ratio function.....Overall flavor seems "unified" into one only.....No distinction of the various berries on the inhale or exhale......or through nose.....or while hotboxing........Definitely sweeter, more flavorful than a higher PG/VG juice I previously mixed, but would like to taste a tad more natural sweetness, along with flavor......Options I am contemplating (which will be pursued) are: tasting my other mix ratios.......aging the juices longer........adding a subtle sweetener or contrasting fruit, such as a citrus or cherry stone fruit to bring the characteristics out a bit more and help eliminate that artificial "manufactured" taste.......coconut?......cream? or what not........Anyone who has experience with this Forest Fruit Flavor......I would be grateful, and delighted if you would care to share your experiences, and suggestions, as I am very new at this art........ Looking forward to learning what I can.....Cig free for about 2 months now.......enjoying the DIY of this juice thing and have some friends I would like to turn on to some killer blends.............................:)

Good job on kicking the coffin nails man! Forest Fruit is one of my favorites, and here's one I'm playing with:

3% FF
2% Vienna cream

I actually need to re-order a bunch of FA flavors, but that mix is damn good IMHO. Nice shake and vape, but after a day or three the cream really opens up.

What PG/VG ratio are you doing?.........I vaped some of my 50/50 mix and it certainly is lighter, more airy than 70/30 and gives much more vapor...
Flavor is not as concentrated as the higher PG juice, but is still there......I like the idea of your blend with Vienna Cream, as I am finding that the Forest Fruit standalone becomes a bit tiresome vaping over a long period of time, kinda heavy on the tongue.....Taking notes.....Thank you very much.....:)

Right now 35/65 PG/VG at 14 mg/ml. TBH I haven't made this mix for some time now, since I ran out of those flavors :(. Once I can re-up I'm gonna add a bit of anise to it. I tried 2% FF to 1% anise when I first started DIY and enjoyed that one too, so I'm thinking maybe 1.5% - 2% anise to the FF/cream mix should be good too.
